I have tried so many sandwiches before, yet I have found the interesting one here. So, I tried eating here and I am expecting... that, it's like the other restaurant, with no significant or unusual things. But to my surprise, when I tried their food, Wow!It was one of a kind. The corned beef sandwich is superb, very tasty with lots of meat and filling. The tuna salad sandwich isalso awesome. The place is very clean and follow health standards. I am definitely recommending Moon?s Sandwich Shop to myfriends and family near here. I hope I can go back to this place sooner. I can't wait! Thank you very much for the excellentservice. Read more
Love this place. It's been a hole in the wall type of restaurant probably longer than I've been alive and the food is always... amazing. They close early but are open early. Definitely recommend. Read more

This place is so outdated and unsanitary. I have never seen so many workers that was allowed to sit around and do nothing, they... where making cocktails on the low and giving free food to their friends. The staff is made up of street/Hood/Hustle people. Thecornbeef sandwich is no longer the same, it has small amount of meat and not fresh - definitely not worth $12. The meatloafdinner was awful, the meat was frozen and heated in slices with bland box mash potatoes and unflavored can corn. Always loved their breakfast. Best out west but the female workers attitude is ridiculous. They are extremely slow and even when... placing order over phone you still wait beyond 20 minutes for food. The phone stay ringing and sometimes give that disconnectionmessage. And tbh they should be in better location by now can?t park around there and can?t eat inside. Definitely in need ofupdating. Firstly, this is a no-frills diner and at my visit did not allow any dine-in option though there is room for counter service. ... But besides that, their famous corn-beef sandwich rivals some of the best deli spots in Chicago. Dont overlook their breakfastsandwiches, their fried egg sandwich with bacon is really well made and they dont skimp on that bacon. This diner is not inyour upscale neighborhood, but its really quite a hidden gem in the city. Just have to understand this long-standing diner washere well before the nearby gentrification by The United Center. Read more
My dad has been taken me here for many years when I was a little girl to get Moon's famous corn beef sandwich but I got to say I... also haven't been there in about 10 years. I was craving a corn beef sandwich this past weekend so I decided to go there. Ofcourse I got the sandwich and it was just as I remember very tasty and outstanding. A bit pricey for one sandwich though andthey don't give you a lot of meat like they use to but it was still worth getting. I recommend trying the beef sandwich ifyou're ever in the area. Read more
