This is a great idea but the execution is not good. This is a dark kitchen with all the warmth of a Amazon pickup locker. I... was 10 minutes early but the food had already been sitting for 8 minutes. If I had picked it up on time, it would have beencold as it was already tepid when I arrived. The person that prepared my bowl thought the hard rice stuck to the bottom of thepan was the best rice to use. The chicken had mixed textures as if some had been cooked at different times. How many times doyou reheat your chicken and do you mix new cooked chicken with old cooked chicken? Peices of chicken were chewy, funky, andold. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. Read more
I Agree with the people that said it tasted bland and rough. I dont mind eating healthy but somethings definitely missing here.... I cant tell if the rice is overcooked or has been in the fridge but im sure you know what type of texture im talking about. Thechicken is hard and cold. Its not unchewable but the texture is not adding to the experience. Might have been overcooked aswell. Like someone else posted... after a few bites the appetite was completely gone and I have 2 bowls thanks to a buy one getone free. Ill add that I was starving before this got here. We love moonbowls! Everything we have gotten from their menu has been fresh and tasted delicious. It is pricey though, but you... have to pay for quality, fresh ingredients. We keep coming back for the Korean bbq cauliflower with vegan ranch sauce! Read more
