Bring your wallet and leave your dignity/ HATS at the door. NO RENTRY All for the same party, 4 of us had to pay a $20 cover... after we had 4 friends get in for a $10 cover after we had 8 friends get in for free. All for the same birthday party. (Basedon time not reservation, which is absurd for the price of what they dispense.) Be ready to carry around your hats. Almost gottossed after 30 seconds for questioning why some patrons had hats on. Also, for the price of drinks, you wouldn’t expect tocome home smelling like a kitchen.. However, they make and sell $7 tacos cash only that end up saturating your night life attirewith residual cooking exhaust. Not where I want to be again or where you want to be. The ambient is great. But you have to pay 20 to only get inside, it doesn't include any drink with your payment. Also good... music, however it closes super early! How can you stop the music at 1 am on a Friday night and start to kick all people outrudely? It supposedly closes at 2 am on Fridays... It about 80 degrees in here. Bartender just told me the ac is not working. I asked if they will open garage door window style... and she said “they won’t listen “. I then asked security and he said no they will not open them. I said what if someonepasses out of heat exhaustion. He said “If you feel like you will pass out you can leave now”. Seriously? Last weekend I visited Moe's the experience was average as usual. I'm still waiting for it to feel like the Instagram posts I... see (if thats even possible) bravo marketing though. The drinks were fine the service was ok but the no Jordan's rule needs tochange. I was in the establishment early on with Jordans on no problem, but when I left and returned later it was an issue. Why? Jordans are a popular brand and classy depending on which ones you have. Anyway, I would like an explanation for theinconvenience because there is no reason the line behind me with 90% of people wearing dirty airforce ones should be getting inan establishment before me. We Love Moes. We been going there for about 6 yrs love the space, the music, the food and the drinks. We been here since our... 20's and still is our # 1place to go for night out for my wife and I and friends. In the summer the rooftop is the best. Great food and beverages,music, sport screens, great servers bartenders, managers Nice. We were very satisfied with our visit... weekends are very busy thumbs up ????. I enjoyed going there for an event. It was a nice Rooftop & good ambiance. The bartenders could of done a better job. It's one... of the better bars on Clark Ave. in my opinion. I would definitely come back. Read more
The Turkey crawl was from 7:00pm-1:00am and at 12:25 they wanted to charge $20 cover even though I had a wristband(Keep in mind... I waited in line for about 20-25 minutes). I showed the manager this on my phone, and he acknowledged that it lasted until 1,but then started to act like he was clueless, and was like “Oh they said at the door they stopped the wristbands at 12:00”.Who cares what they’re doing, aren’t you the manager? Honor the event you signed your club up for. I do have to add that themanager was very nice, but also very useless. I also checked their Instagram to see if I missed something, but there was nothingsaying they would stop the event prematurely at their club, just that they were open until 2:00 am. Then he had the audacity toask, “So do you want to come in?” To which I said that if they’re charging me $20 I am not, he said they would, so I leftwith my dignity intact. I am eating a very good sandwich at home right now so maybe I should be thanking them. Honestly though,don’t waste your time here, just go to Pilsen, same vibes and no cover.
