Follow up: I appreciate management responding to my review. I appreciate their effort to rectify the experience I had, that... goes a long way. I will be returning, the food is amazing. 1 Star for horrendous customer service this evening. I patronizethis restaurant at least 2-3 times a month. The Tropical Habanero Wings are beyond amazing, sweet and not too hot. and that iswhat I ordered with small fries with the Tropical Habanero sauce....because it is just that good. Placed my order, made a runsince it takes about 20-25 minutes to get the order, I returned, my order was ready, I picked it up and went home....only tofind the wings had no sauce - normally they are generously sauced with extra to dip on the bottom. I returned to the restaurant,let them know the issue and the young lady told me, you only wanted sauce on the fries. What? Check the receipt, TropicalHabanero Wings. She proceeded to argue with me, trying to sauce the cold wings. I told her the order needed to be remade, sheargued some more then, wait for it, proceeded to take my wing order and drop it back in the fryer - Department of HealthViolation. You cannot put food back in prep area that has been removed from the premises. Once I said that, she took the wingsout and dropped fresh wings. So I waited right there, for about 20-25 minutes, got my wings, ready to devour the wings,drenched in that amazing sauce like the first time we enjoyed them- see pictures below, if you have had their wings with sauce,you know they are generous with it....only to get home and find out, she merely drizzled a little sauce on the wings. I havenever had this issue at this location and I hope to never again. The food is great and I support wholeheartedly black ownedbusinesses in my neighborhood. Soooo I lucked on this spot by happenstance on TikTok and lemme say I?m not disappointed at all. Food was amazing! And the guy... at the register made my ordering experience all the more easy. The music selection made me feel so at home. It?s real!!!! Read more
Today was my 1st and LAST time going here!!! The burgers are over priced for the quality. The cashier/ fry girl who BTW didn't... change gloves... dropped the fries 3x's they were crunchy... Wow is what you get when you go into this place. Nice environment, clean, nice music and most definitely the burgers are on... point. Love the fresh made banana shake I also got from there. Definitely a place I plan on going back to soon. Read more
Let me apologize for the picture as I wanted to waste no time digging in this here masterpiece! Six wings. Rico's Mild. Lemon... pepper. SMACKING! So you hear me? The flavor was popping so hard! These are the wings that are cooked with love...homemade. Ihave also been converted into a lover of Italian Beef. My fries were burnt, my grandson?s fries were burnt, & the mushrooms I ordered on my Turkey burger were out of the jar, & barely... grilled. The mushrooms are my fault, because I thought they would use fresh mushrooms, so shame on me for not asking. The Turkeyburger does have a very good taste, and they give you a lot fries. If you don?t like sweet food, make sure to tell them that youdon?t want whatever sweet sauce they put on the Turkey burgers, as I had to throw the top layer of bread away, because it wassoaked in some sort of sweet sauce (maybe a BBQ sauce)? By far the best burgers I have had the patty is put on a charcoal grill which gives it a char taste. Everything is done by hand... nothing by machine or nothing comes prepped already. Definitely a 5 star experience and recommend to others as well. Read more
