There are not enough stars to express how wonderful our dining experience was at this amazing restaurant. Our server, Mick, was... so knowledgeable, and friendly. She added a personal touch that I haven't found at any other establishment and it made theamazing experience that much better. She recommended the perfect wine, and I'll be searching for it wherever I can. Mick and thekitchen staff were very accommodating to my cilantro allergy, and it's absence in the dish did nothing to detract from theglorious & enticing flavors. The portions are perfect- you will leave perfectly full, and not get hungry the rest of the night. The flavors, the textures, they were all so incredible. Everything you eat will have you saying "oooh," and "ahhh," all night.Every bite was delectable, and warranted many "OMG's!" This experience wasn't just impressive, it was downright delightful. This is a foodie & gourmet paradise. Quiet, intimate, and upscale. Perfect for a relaxing night out. You will love everythingyou try here, from cocktails & starters, to Entrées and dessert. I highly recommend the Suzuki crudo, the Spanish tortilla, thefideo, and their cauliflower dish. I'd be first in line if they bottled & sold their sauces! Do yourself a favor and get areservation ASAP. Read more

What an incredible spot this is! I had visited many years ago and remembered it being really good but it has only gotten better... as time has passed. I went with my family and we got to share about 6 dishes. The ratatouille was divine, the skate perfectlyseasoned and cooked, tasty lamb merguez, and the fideos were cooked in a highly addictive saffron cream sauce. The dessertdidn’t disappoint in the form of a basque almond cake. Excellent yet unpretentious service. The space is very intimate andcozy so make sure to make reservations. Read more

Dinner was absolutely amazing. They have an incredible bar program. The tropical selection of cocktails are all extremely well... done. i especially liked the jungle bird. I brought my future in laws here for an intimate discussion. We were treated withbasically white glove service. The prawn head special was interesting. i loved the spanish tortilla and the scallops. Our serverwas extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the cooking process. The music in this place is also phenomenal! Highlyrecommend. I will be back! Read more

Delicious food, fantastic service, and a lovely intimate space that's perfect for any date or special occasion. Both the wine... and cocktail programs are top-notch: be sure to grab a glass or two with your meal. Read more

Great seafood oriented tapas style dining. The best basque cake ever and kick butt anchovy and boquerones dishes. The roasted... mushrooms and the little gem salad courses were excellent. Liked several of the new dishes. Read more

This place was amazing! First and foremost, would love to mention the really low key vibe this place has. Tucked below the... sidewalk, the dining room is extremely intimate, and paired with bright walls and paintings, you feel as though you'retransported to the coast of Spain. The menu is a traditional tapas menu, so you'll want to choose a few plates to share. For atable of two, we did one plate from the first course, three from the second, and one from the main course. The food was greatand everything we were hoping it would be. End your dinner with the butter cake. I definitely recommend it. Read more

So this place had numerous glowing reviews, which caught my eye for a new foodie destination. But, I was especially charmed by... the few poor ones sprinkled in as they had the most colorfully virulent retorts that I've ever seen. Due to this combination ofpatrons' admiration and the owner's staunch defense, I knew I had to try this place! "Cocktails...food, so how were they???" Both ASTOUNDINGLY IMPRESSIVE while inconspicuously positioned around 4am industry bars. Honestly, this is one of the mostsatisfying dinners I've ever had at a restaurant in my life, and I actively look for such experiences. The Admin, Saturn, SourGrapes, and Back Forty were the tried cocktails between a friend and me and were all very dialed in on balancing flavorprofiles. You could give any of these a try and be satisfied (Admin will become my spicy go-to admittedly). As for the food, the Suzuki Bass Crudo and olives were amazing bites of food for each of us; the croquettes slayed in savoriness; and the Spanishtortilla was the best thing I've eaten in memory since I moved to Chicago a few years back. You hear me?! THE.BEST.THING. Tothe ambitious and toiling owner(s), you have done nothing short of greatness! Thank you for betting on yourself and opening upthis restaurant, so that underlings such as myself can have some of the best and most memorable food/cocktail experiences in acity with many options promising to provide the same (oftentimes much more expensive and with much less substance). Seriously...SUPERLATIVE. Like it or not, I'll be back! :) Read more
