Horrible experience. Went on mothers day and hardly any people at all, just an old lay and a small family of 4 that came in... later. The food took 50 minutes to come out and even then you could tell that the Mojarra had been refried (they mostlikelyforgot about it and refried it) and the Torta de asada was okay just salty. Again just for those two dishes took 50 minutes ANDNOT TO MENTION COST $100. The mojarra cost $26, I can get a Mojarra that cost $19 at the Costa seriously! We left the place andwent to the Costa. Very expensive and the food is garbaje!! I ordered camarones a la Diablo and they sent me shrink from the dolar store. Very... disappointing with this restorant. WARNING ! WARNING! WARNING ! NEVER EAT HERE.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I love Mexican food so much. The food here was the worse... food I?ve ever tasted. I wish I would have read the comments before eating here . I asked friends if they ever ate here , theysaid no and I should?ve taken it as a sign . I don?t mind spending extra bucks on quality food so being expensive is not anissue. But for the fact that it was basura. I gave it to a homeless man and he didn?t want to eat. That?s how bad it was. Please don?t waste your money. The coctel de camarón had freezer burn taste. The prices are high and the food honestly does not... taste good. Very disappointed today. My kid only took a few bites I didn?t even take it to go. I spit out the shrimp it tastedlike they had that shrimp in the freezer for months. Read more
Came in to eat for Father?s Day since all other places were full. We thought that it was a little weird that on such a busy day,... there was only 2 tables. We still decided to give the place a try. The waitresses were great but the food was horrible. We gotlangostinos and the sauce was under seasoned and they weren?t even cooked all the way. It?s like they were trying to rush thefood out. To top things off, it was me and my parents on our table, 3 People! and they decided to charge tip on the bill and noteven tell us. I am not from Chicago, rode past and caught my attention bc it is a sea food restaurant. Service was good but the food is... terrible. From the aguas frescas to the salsas and the main dishes we had, I would have rather not eaten at all? Dear owner: Ibeg of you, I am sure moving forward this issue can be corrected. Please take the time to reconsider your current methods andrecipes. Get a new cook or something. I see your hard work and dedication.
