Reviews for LÝRA in Chicago, IL
We managed to get a last minute reservation, and we were amazed. The atmosphere and service are a 10/10. All the food was... absolutely amazing. If you are able to get in and try this place I highly recommend. The oysters were my favorite thing in themenu. Read more
Went here for dinner with a friend after a recommendation from a coworker and enjoyed everything! This is another trendy... restaurant in the West Loop. Service was great and we got wonderful recommendations for both cocktails and food. Most notablewere the octopus and lamb. Pretty pricy, but that?s to be expected in this area. Would love to come here again to try more!! Read more
One of my favorite brunch spots in Chicago! Their open air space is perfect for summer and enjoying this gorgeous weather but... the food is the real star of the visit. I came in with a friend and we shared a couple things which was perfect. I would highlyrecommend the Sunday salad, Greek Scramble, and Pancakes (the lemon glaze is incredible!). We also loved the watermelon mimosas!Highly, highly recommend!! Read more
Lyra was outstanding! The service was super friendly and relatively quick on a very busy night. Our server gave really helpful... recommendations and helped us understand what we should order on our first visit. Everything we chose off the menu really blewour mines - especially the "deconstructed pasta" - I still have dreams about the marvelous flavors infused in that dish. Theoctopus is a must get, at least because of the hype, but it really doesn't disappoint either. We also got the lamb gyros whichwere solid as well, though not as life-changing as some of their other dishes (it was a lot of food though, so relatively goodbang for your buck on that dish). I am taking off one star only because the atmosphere left a bit to be desired. The menu andstaff make for a wonderful time, but due to the location in Fulton Market, the place feels a bit too much like an afternoonhangout. There were a lot of people around the bar which ended up crowding into our table some, and that was distracting andunwanted. Otherwise, only praises from me. Read more
AMAZING experience!!! I don?t know where to start. First let me start off with the ambiance, it?s so beautiful. Our server Chris... made our first time experience here 10X more enjoyable. I love how Chris interacted with us and was very detailed with all thefood. I?m very picky with lamb and I put my trust in Chris and I?m so happy I did! Not only was the lamb delicious now I?veexperienced some authentic Gyro meat. The cocktails were delicious as well. I never been to restaurant were all the food wasdelicious and flavorful and cooked to perfection. I definitely want Chris as my server next time. I also will be recommendingthis place to all of Chicago. Read more
This was my first time at Lyra with friends and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The dishes were beautifully... presented and the taste was spectacular. In addition, wanted to compliment the service we received from Essyl that evening. Allthe things we ordered from appetizers, main courses, wine and dessert were on her recommendations and I?m so glad we did! Shehandled our table with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Absolutely a place to visit! Read more
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Like everyone said I had to book a month advance and the only time they had was 4:45 pm... Friday night that I booked out exactly one month prior to his birthday night. Everything ordered was DELICIOUS but my favoritewas the lamb chops. The Horta was good but a little too salty so couldn't really eat it. Everything else was made to perfection. Will definitely come back. The restaurant was extremely busy for it to had just open at 4 pm. Read more
Great experience! We went to Lyra to celebrate a birthday and had amazing food and service. Portion sizes are small, so make... sure to order 9-10 dishes for a group of 5. Very expensive overall, so just know that going in. It would be very hard to leavewith at least $100 per person if you are drinking. Read more
