We came here because of a video that went viral showcasing their mythological under the sea theme drinks. The video showed... smoking drinks and cool cups/garnishes. We went at 9:30pm on a Saturday night and no one was at this bar. The decor is verycomfy and could potentially be a nice bar to hang out at except our experience fell flat. First off it was freakin hot (it's midJanuary when we went)!!!! Like 90 degrees hot. I asked if they could do anything about it and they said they couldn't. After anhour I felt like this was way too long to sit in a sauna. Second the bar closes at 11pm. If you are trying to be an upcomingbar, don't close at 11pm. For the drinks: their menu has a nice selection of mythological themed drinks. However I wasdisappointed that they didn't have the smoking drink that was on their viral video as they had taken this off their menu. Don'ttake things off your menu if they just went viral! We ordered our drinks from the cocktail menu and only half of them came inunique glasses. I had the Hobbes which came in a horn like glass. Now I love sweet drinks but this was too sweet, like an overlysweetened lemonade, I could only drink half before my teeth started to hurt and I had a stomach ache. My friends had the Kronusdrink as advertised on their viral video. It was a shaved ice drink in a cool glass with neat garnishes but It tasted horrible!It tasted sour yet spicy, the flavors did not balance each other out at all. My friend asked for a new drink because shecouldn't stomach it and even her wine wasn't very good. For $14 and up for a drink this was a HUGE waste of our money andtime. Lastly, we received our bill and at the bottom was the suggested tip amounts as per most restaurants. I paid with my cardand the waitress added a 23% tip without my consent!!!!!!
