Leghorn is one of my favorite chicken places in the city. They keep a short menu, but do everything well. I would suggest... skipping the sandwiches and going straight for the tenders to get as much chicken as possible. The hot sauce on the chicken hasamazing flavor, and their 6-7 house-made dipping sauces complement it well. The crispy chicken skins have an amazing texture, sodon't miss those. Read more
Went last night at 8:15 to order carryout. Ordered 2 fried chicken?s on buns plus an order of chicken tenders. After the... wait, we arrived back at our home a few blocks away. When we bit into the chicken sandwich and they were clearly old, stale, anddry. I?ve been eating at leghorn for 3 years. Started at the River North location but then moved over by the Western spot. Western has been a total joke for the last year. I keep giving it a try because I love leghorn but this is the last time. You are open for another hour and a half but you wont give us fresh food? One of the best if not the best non-greasy fried chicken sandwich that you can get in Chicago. Good vibe, mellow hip hop going... on in the background, but not loud enough to distract from a conversation. Overall a great experience every time I've been. Thiswas visit 6. I'll be back. Read more
