Le Petit Paris is such a lovely French restaurant. I picked this restaurant for one of my girls' birthday. French onion soup was... heavenly after walking about 15 minutes to the restaurant in a very cold evening. Their Cote du Rhone was so good, (only $8 perglass). When I had a first sip of the Rhone, I instantly knew their foods they were about to serve would be simply excellent(and would worth at least twice more than they were priced like this wine), and I was right. Nothing pretentious, and we couldfeel that all staff wanted us to have a good time here. I wish I could visit Paris off-season to enjoy the nice localrestaurants there (all the good ones close for summer vacation as you know). Until then, I will find and come to the restaurantslike Le Petit Paris! Read more

I love this restaurant! It feels like Paris in Chicago. Totally authentic! The owner is sweet, kind, and funny. He does 99% of... all the serving for the whole restaurant. The food is beyond fantastic. I love the escargot and chocolate mousse but really youcan’t go wrong with whatever you order. And… the wine is delicious and reasonably priced. We have been there twice and willdefinitely go back! Read more

We came here for our anniversary. It was quaint, quiet, and quite the French dining experience. We enjoyed every moment! Our... server was friendly and well versed in the menu. Expect an authentic French experience when you come - it’s like beingtransported across the Atlantic! Every bite of the food was better than the last and we only wanted more. C’est magnifique! Charming, intimate cozy spot with authentic French food. I felt like I was in a brasserie in Paris. Service was very... professional and warm. If you treat the staff with respect you will get the same in return. Read more

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Chicago. The cuisine is to die for, prices are unbelievable. The owner/chef is... wonderful! I have been coming here for years. In response to a few reviews I read: Service may be a little slow as theowner/chef has been unable to hire waitstaff, this doesn’t bother me, I love talking to the chef. There was a comment aboutthe chef being rude. LOL, I remember the first time I ate there and can see how someone may have that reaction. However, Iloved it! I was reminded of being an American tourist in Paris and going to a French restaurant. My advice is enjoy theexperience, this is an authentic French restaurant experience! As a regular I now miss that little bit of French hospitalityLOL! Read more

A true gem! Authentic French restaurant with outstanding food. Small quaint cozy just like you would expect a French Restaurant... and Alan the owner is magnificent and a gracious host. Hard to get in since there are only 8 tables but worth it if you get thechance. We have been in Chicago for five days in the last two months and ate at Le Petit Paris three of those nights.
