As a Muslim Asian, I have very limited options to eat at any Mexican restaurants. Omg this place is so amazing with there food... specially seafood pasta and horchatas. The chips with shrimp cocktail and some green sauce is highly recommended!!! Read more
It's my first time here and I'm not diaspointed. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the decor. They got this whole... marina theme going on. When you sit down the serve you a small bowl of seviche with tostadas and 2 different hot sauces. The oneon the pic is the hottest sauce i have ever tasted and im Mexican. I've ate some hot sauces before but this sauce...???????????????????? It should have a sign that says "eat at your own risk". The waitress, Noemi, was really nice andattentive. She made sure we had anything we need. I had the Red Snaper in garlic sauce and it was delicious. The rice, however, was not homemade. As a matter of fact, that is the same rice we use to package at the food processing plant for otherrestaurants and airplanes. I feel like that took away from the dish. Here you have a great tasting fish with generic, boxtasting rice. Read more
Great value for the large portion size. We loved the ceviche appetizer and then tried the fried calamari and the pasta marinera,... which had a really nice Alfredo-type sauce and a good amount of various seafood in it. It seemed like they had lots of greatdrink options as well, although we didn?t try any. Read more
Came to Islas for a Valentines Day dinner. There was a bit of a wait ( as expected) but once we got a table the service was... exceptional! Ordered some Miches' and the Huachinango al mojo de ajo. Theeee best I've ever had. ???? Everything was delicious. Read more
After not liking my first experience, I gave this restaurant another chance, but had the same lackluster food. The menu offers... various options and the portions are large. However, from the flavorless ceviche, to the over breaded and tasteless calamari, toour oily shrimp entries, the food never lived up to expectation. Especially in such a food rich city, with so many Mexicanrestaurants, there are far more flavorful, thoughtful, and better quality options to choose from. Read more
