Sweetest owner and the food is amazing and they have very loving portions. My husband and I shared shawarma fries and we were... full with just that appetizer. Definitely the best restaurant near UIC and one of my favorite restaurants all together. Truly the best middle eastern food I?ve had in Chicago. They had to stop some of their hours because they weren?t getting enough... business but this is truly some of the best food I?ve ever had so more people need to know about it and try it! Owner was kind enough to offer me a chocolate chip cookie on my way out. Solid shawarma and lentil soup. The salad has a nice... light dressing where the herbs, especially thyme comes through. And the rice was absolutely fabulous. So light and fluffy andnicely seasoned. The entree is generously portioned, enough for 2 meals. Food was packed so well that even after running a fewerrands before eating my lunch, everything was still hot, as if they just brought out my food. Definitely coming back. Read more
