One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago, highly recommend the kimbap, chicken wings, and japche. Food is phenomenal every time... and we tend to come quite often! The ambiance for dine in is great, servers are attentive and quick. The food holds up well fortake out too. It is a staple in our restaurant rotation Read more

I had booked a party of 10 at this place for a family event, and while being understaffed they went above and beyond with... service, especially the bartender. We have been fortunate to live in South Korea and this is about as authentic as it can get. Igo here once every two weeks and for Chicago you cannot beat the prices. Read more

Bulgogi was dry but good flavor. Chicken wings were decent. A tad too saucey and too much breading though. The bonchon was good.... Overall, not super impressed with the food but service and ambience were great, and it’s not too expensive. I would come backto try other things on the menu, hopefully they would be better. This place has been here for a very long time. I remember it was a big deal when it first opened - Chicago tends to get excited... by new cuisines that try to appeal to a Midwestern pallet. Surprisingly, though, even after 20 years Jin Ju does not pander. Ihad the most delicious kimchi tofu bowl - I could have been in Los Angeles or Seoul it was so good. If you ask, they will evenmake the Kim Bap without the crab stick to make it gluten free, which of course I ordered and loved. Read more

This place is okay if you only had rudimentary introduction to Korean food and looking for ambience. It feels more like a place... to go on date and have Korean rather than the type you go there because food is just that great. The food wasn't spicy at alleven when it was in the description. Heavy on alcohol options and little for non drinkers, and tea selection is abysmal. Ilike the concept of hip restaurant that serves Korean food. I just wish the food was better, better beverage options for nondrinkers, and more banchan. Read more

Great food- came here with a tight timeline before a show nearby. Sam was amazing. We let him know of the time crunch and he... accommodated very well. The food was amazing… we got the bulgogi and chicken wings. Both exceeded expectations. Highlyrecommended Read more
