Sandwich was fine. Shop smelled funny. Also, news to me - different Jimmy John's can charge different amounts for the same... sandwich. This shop charged $9.96 for The Veggie (10.75% sales tax included). I had purchased the same exact sandwich at anotherlocation in Chicago the day before for $8.86 (10.75% sales tax included). Delivery driver looked annoyed and was rude. Didn?t have any cash for a tip & I don?t like adding tips through my card because... of bad experiences. He said ? Thanks for the tip ? sarcastically, we order pretty often and usually always tip just didn?t haveany cash. Read more
I've ordered delivery from a few times. Each time takes a minimum of 30 minutes from when they received my order to when it's... delivered. Partial blame can be on the delivery service or driver but that doesn't exclude the time they received their order towhen it's out for delivery. I always to 20% or more as well. Read more
My friend and I usually order the individual box lunches online but since I was in the area I went to the store to order myself... an individual lunch box. They told me no that I have to order 4 of them to get the box lunches. I was very shocked about that. Itold them that my friend and I just order 2 before and there was no problem before. $12 just for a sandwich chips and soda. I'mnot going back there. Read more
Ordered an ultimate porker which is a 10 dollar sandwich. It came with 2 slices of ham. Called the store to share my feedback... and was greeted with an employee who barely cared and reluctantly offered to rectify the situation. Save your money and buy asandwich from marianos. Update: The remade sandwich was exactly the same as the first order. Very little apology or explanationwas given after a second follow up call to the manager-apart from a willingness to remake the sandwich yet a third time. Worst Jimmy Johns I've ever had - every single time. It's true that they are freaky fast, but they short you on all of the... toppings other than lettuce every single time and the bread is terrible every time too. After getting another terrible sandwichI decided to call and the manager was a jerk. I was a jerk right back. You want me to give you back the sandwich I got inexchange for a new one? This is my neighborhood JJ?s and honestly, this place always gets some part of the delivery wrong. Today they gave us an oatmeal... raisin instead of a chocolate chip cookie, other times it?s been little things like forgetting condiments/cheese or not cuttingthe sandwich in half. They are fine for in-person orders but delivery is just careless. Read more
