Wonderful little Turkish spot in Irving Park. The honey cake is delicious and the Turkish coffee is as good as I've ever had.... The lunch specials looked great and I am excited to go back and try them. They also have unusual Turkish drinks like Ayran andUludag Read more

Ive never written a bad review in my life. This person by the name osman claims to be the manager, his behavior forced me to... write this. Pathetic, owner needs some serious customer service lessons! Ordered a bulk order but the funny thing is that theydon't have the utensils to carry out the order. When stated the same to them , he got aggressive and abused us in front of theother customers. I hope ,he rectifies it. The worst part of my experience was the food, it was disgusting, I felt he did thatintentionally. Nevertheless, I'm never going back there. Read more

Grabbed a chicken and steak plate and wasn’t impressed, pretty plain and boring to be honest. Hummus was pretty good. Wasn’t... worth $30, first time here so maybe some other menu items have some more effort put into them. Read more

I came by for the iskender and it was delicious! Personally I would've preferred a bit more yogurt and less of the melted butter... but the meal was pretty close to what you'd get in Turkey. Price felt a bit expensive, $20 with taxes for the dish alone. Icame by just after lunchtime on a weekday and there was plenty of space available. Read more

Lovey staff! Very helpful and explained the items well. We had a beef samosa and chicken, both had very flaky dough but the... halal beef was the best! The hot turkish tea is strong with a good flavor and only $1! Finally we had their original desert, kazandibi. It’s a Turkish pudding with some caramel on top, making it very refreshing with the tea. I think this is the most delicious kofte. The guy works in the kitchen knows how to make this koftes. It is exactly the same... taste when i was in Turkey. If you go to regular Turkish restaurant you will pay 20$ and get the half of this plate. I alsoordered lentil soup for $1.50 and that was really good. Thank you! Read more

The place is small and kind of a hole in the wall place. The lady at the counter was friendly. We ordered a couple of dishes-... pida with parsley and cheese, istekander and one more that i am forgetting the name off. So, the starter bread they bought outwasnt too great but it isnt part of what we ordered. The food that we did order was amazing and i really enjoyed it. Taste waybetter than the turkish food i had on the east coast. Dedinately recommend this place. Read more
