My friends and I (a group of six of us) were waiting in line to get into this bar when a bouncer pulled us to the front of the... line to let us in. The bouncer would not let the 6th person in our group into the bar after the rest of us got in. The bouncerthen pushed my (OBVIOUSLY smaller than him) friend completely unnecessarily and provoked. One of my friends already inside thenwent to the bouncer and tried to explain and he shoved my friend backwards and shoved the door closed. This was completelyunnecessary to push two WOMEN for no reason. I will NEVER go back here. Read more
Located right next to Wrigley stadium, stopped by since there wasn’t no line and most bars had a long line- place was packed... but the vibe was awesome. Restrooms were clean. Time between standing in line & ordering was actually pretty quick! Has anoutdoor area as well so you can take your drink outside and hang there as well. Would be back in future! Loved the setup here. The staff was very warm and sociable. I was told to try their unique sourdough crust pizza which is very... different from the usual Chicago staple but was very delicious. Great tasting drinks, the stage for performances is small andclose to the bar so you get a intimate vibe for a venue. 50 cent performed the Saturday prior to our visit so to see howcrowded and great that even must have been really shows the potential of this bar. Right next to Wrigley Field and decoratedwith a mural design throughout the entire exterior and interior of the building, this is definitely a cool place to check out ofyou are visiting the Northside of town. HVAC was a great place to watch England v Italy game last Sunday, service was kind and quick, seating was available and the food... and drink options were reasonable. The prices were a little high for my liking and the fees and automatic tip were a surprise. Ipersonally prefer to tip my server on how their service was. Our bill was incorrect but after bribing it up with our waitress itwas quickly corrected. Overall a great place to watch the unfortunate events of the game and I’ll be back to watch Englandthis World Cup. Read more
Had a blast at HVAC! Pizza is excellent, killer bands and great staff. Two levels of Wrigleyville awesomeness
1st time here and had a wonderful evening. The Reaggie band was powerful and very interactive. Had a pineapple drink, which was... sooo good! Ordered a couple of pizzas which were thin crust and awesome. Service and staff were exceptional. Definitely makethis a place to stop in and have a great evening and enjoy the music, drinks and food. Im definitely returning for another funfilled evening. Read more
Staff are nice but the second floor bathrooms have broken locks, the floors don't get cleaned after spills and the owner's... friends can apparently smoke indoors without consequences Read more
