Food okay, drinks not great. The hostess tonight was not very friendly, maybe controlling the floor has gone to her head, we... almost left because we couldn't have a booth, instead we were sat in the center of the restaurant. I understand that booths arefor "larger parties" (her words), however there was not a line out the door, nor was there anyone waiting for a table, much lessa booth. It was our first time trying House of Blues, but we will not return. I would like to give a special shout out to theVery hard working, friendly Guillermo who should be given a Huge raise. Read more
Great place, awesome music, delicious food, good cocktails. Not expensive. Definitely a must if you are around.
Man the ten dollar cover was worth it. The live band was amazing and it wasn't to loud. Also the place is real casual so don't... feel pressure to dress up. If u don't know where to stop in downtown the house of blues is a safe choice. Read more
Don't come here if you love the Blues! Food good and reasonably priced but drinks expensive- 17 dollars for a very average... cocktail! Music provided by a duo singing anything but the Blues - a very also ran pub band! Quirky decor but basically arestaurant with background music. Read more
Venue-wise, it's a nice, intimate setting. Staff at the door was pleasant. Attended the Beach Bunny Q101 pop-up; Didn't order... anything from the restaurant. Read more

Had a great visit tonight and enjoyed the food and music. Bar and wait staff were fantastic. Katie especially. It took a little... while to get a table before ordering food, but staff took my details and I waited at the bar for a little while before someonefound me and I was switched over to a nearby table. The Jambalaya was delicious with Shrimp and the Southern Side Salad withchampagne vinigarette. All items on the menu sounded tempting! Great selection of drinks also. Read more
One star is too much. On the web site it said that live music is playing from 5pm. At the entrance I asked when does show start... . They said "any minute now".
