An incredibly gorgeous and elegant venue it is beautiful inside and out. It looks very large from the outside and is neatly... nestled right in the heart of the loop right next to the river in downtown chicago. Getting inside is a pain in the butt andonce you do the lobby is very small. You are immediately LED upstairs to the stage floor area. General admission stage area isvery small for such a large high-profile venue. It is a very close quarters crowd space. Expect high levels of Engagement allthroughout the show. Read more
House of blues is a great small venue full of unique art and detail to enhance the experience. They charge too much for... upgrades. The VIP lounge is awesome for events that include an after party. Eating at the restaurant often allows faster accessinto the venue. Read more
We purchased the VIP tickets which allowed us access to the lounge area and seating on the balcony. Our bartender/server was... amazing. This was for the jawbreaker concert. Met some new friends there. I loved the experience. I’m so happy we were able toget reserved seating on the balcony because the main floor was so crowded. The woman who helped us get the vip was so great. Iwish I had her name. Thank you house of blues for a great experience. Read more
We traveled up to see Caravan Palace here (first time at this venue) and were blown away by how cool it is. We ate at the... restaurant prior, and our waitress was the highlight of the entire dining experience. I unfortunately have a -20 spice toleranceso I was only really able to enjoy the French fries (they were really good though for what that's worth) and load up onhurricane drinks. The venue has this cursed white dog painting on stage left by the bar that I REALLY wish I would have gottena picture of. The entire place is filled with rad art and history. We enjoyed the show and the venue as a whole! Hope to beback! Read more

Went here for a charity event. Had a great time. The food was good for bar food. Had a very tasty Taco. Yhe mac and cheese was... also pretty good. The sliders had just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The house band playing was energetic, entertaining andenjoyable to watch or dance to. They kept going and was interacting with the crowd. I suggest valet parking. Much easier to useand worth the money than to find a parking space and walk. Went shopping in the gift shop. The items are reasonably priced fora tourist who is visiting. Plus we received a free mug because we spent a certain amount and a reusable bag. If you are ever inChicago, take visit to the store, the restaurant or stay and see an event. You won't be disappointed. Read more
