Food and waitstaff were pretty good but the gift store was less than ideal. Ambience and environment in the restaurant were... pleasant and relaxed with very enjoyable music. We enjoyed looking at the memorabilia. After making over $150 in purchases, wedecided we would rather have a shirt rather than one of the hats we selected. Food and service excellent. Our waitress Jasmine was warm and friendly. The café was fairly quiet when we visited on a Monday... night. We tried to visit the day before but it was closed for a private event. You can’t really go wrong with Hard Rock Cafefor good food, a nice atmosphere and a cool gift shop with locally-themed clothing and accessories. Today was our first time ever in Chicago, and at a Hard Rock Cafe. Staff from the moment we entered was friendly, let us know... where to find stuff and our Server Dan, was amazing! I got a mini Oreo milkshake (to die for) and my drink was a mango berrydrink also (to die for). My wife ordered a country burger which was a little too well done, but outside of that was great. Theirfries were amazing. I ordered the chick Mac n cheese pasta, which my first dish came out and there was a hair in it. But Dan andthe manager corrected it right away, brought me a new dish and even comped it off our ticket even though I never even asked themtoo.
