I've been walking by this place for months, tried other places that were good, but Happy Camper always smelled like the perfect... one.... and it was! Thin crust, not too thin, and the dough had sat around long enough to get bubbly. Cheeses were the perfectamount and combination. Gravy was perfect. AMAZING VEGAN PIZZA!! And it was gluten free! If you are looking for some tasty vegan pizza as well as other food options, look... no further than Happy Camper’s. The waitress was so kind and helped me with my dietary needs. The atmosphere is super chillwith lights strung from the ceiling and a big fat disco ball towards the back. A great place for some sweet photo opportunitiesas well. The music was a little loud though and the bathroom a little messy, but these things really don’t matter in the grandscheme of things. That place was crowded with the youngest people. I went with three friends to hang out and have a nice pizza and drinks. A... friend of mine ordered a martini; she was very specific about that, unfortunately, didn't come the way she asked. Also, thebussyboys took it to my drink before I finished, and they dropped a lot of water glasses on the table. The server Josh was verynice and attentive, so as the table runner, he was very nice and friendly. If you don't mind a lot, the youngest have beenloud, will be the right place to go, and have nice nachos ( to die for) the pizza was nicely cooked and the selection was A+.They have to improve more on the dinner servers and bussyboys. What an awesome vibe this place has! It is well decorated with it's camper theme and lots of string lights every where. Pretty... cool camper booths for a larger group of people. The pizza is really good! I got the "Peter" pizza which was delicious and wellcooked, full of flavor. I'm a big fan of NY style pizza and this hit the spot. I would say this is the best pizza place so farin Chicago. Read more
Pictures don’t explain anything less than a great time; the pizza hugs your taste buds, the drinks ask for your number and the... blackened Caesar salad will make you have wet dreams.
