This place is well known for their bò lá l?t and you definitely would order so that you roll it your self and make to add... bánh h?i to your order. Their dipping sauce for each dish is unique authentic and delicious. We ordered: - grilled beef skewerwith lemongrass (fragrant and yummy, perfect to use in wraps too) - grilled beef wrapped in grape leaf seed (smoky anddelicious, def wrap your own and add bánh h?i) - bánh bèo (average but the sauce that comes with is addictive) - bánh b?tl?c(good and filling, love the sauce) - vietnamese ice coffee - sugar cane juice (refreshing, must get!) Hands down the best Bo La Lot (Hawaiian leaf beef sausage) in town. This is my go to place when I crave for Bo La Lot. The... service is always amazing and fast. You know you are in a good Vietnamese restaurant when there are Vietnamese customers, the nice aroma of fish sauce lingering and... a young kid sitting in a booth behind a pile of plates and napkins studying and playing games on his phone. Really skillful, relaxing and tasty place! The iced Thai bubble tea was an excellent caramel flavor and appreciated the soft... tapioca balls. The beef skewer appetizer was savory with a great crispy edge. My friend and I shared the lemon grass beef ban miand the cubed filet mignon which was juicy and very flavorful, every bite was great. Had the flan for dessert and loved thetexture and presentation. The restaurant is well designed with a calm and laid back atmosphere, music (smooth jazz) is at aperfect volume for enjoying without overwhelming, tables and chairs were very comfortable as well. Great service, the staffare very friendly and polite, they made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Can't wait to be back to try more! Read more
Some of my favourite Vietamese-Chinese dishes! If you come here these are the dishes I recommend! And come here to do... family-style dining rather than individual dishes per person. Hawaiian Leaf Beef Sausage Rolls, Steam Seabass withginger-scallion, or the whole Red Snapper with pickled veggies sauce! I also always get the Water Spinach stir fried withgarlic...a simple dish, but hard to find a place that does it as flavourful as this place does! Don't get me wrong, they alsohave on the menu ala carte dishes like Pho noodle soup, rice dishes, and Vermicelli Noodle Bowls. And they are good. My favorite place on argyle for Vietnamese food. This place is farther down near the lake, you wouldn’t notice it unless you... were looking for it. This place has the best pho. I recommend getting the Hawaiian sausage self wraps. They give you theingredients to wrap your own. This place can get pretty packed on the weekend evenings so I recommend going on a week day. Wegot the lemongrass beef vermicelli and beef short ribs. Both were marinated well with tons of flavor and a nice grill smokiness.If you are looking for a new place to try off the beaten path I recommend this place! The staff here are extremely nice. One of the Vietnamese places in argyle that offers more authentic and unique compared to the ususal pho places. This place is... on par with the places I’m used to back in Texas. The grilled dishes like the Hawaiian leaf sausage and nem nuong are good. They offer diy wraps as well with the grilled meats with side of veggies, wrappers and noodles that many places do not have. They also have pork and seafood hu tieu that’s awesome, they can have the broth served on the side as well. Give this place atry if you want an authentic experience. Read more
