Loved the natural wine selection. I had a hard time choosing. The 404 pet nat was easy to drink, smooth, and nicely structured... (not too dry or acidic). My last wine, Do Nothing, was a mix of Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes which seems like an oddcombination until you try it. Absolutely stunning. Read more

Visited the good funk with my best friend, we both had an amazing time. Our person Damian not only served us what we ordered but... gave us a few tastes of some other unique wine. He answered all my questions about wine from best cheese pairings with aCabernet. Can?t wait to go back when I?m in Chicago again! Read more

Great selection of natural wine. The White wine flight was fantastic and well varied, the guys behind the bar were talkative,... knowledgeable and friendly. Mushrooms on toast were awesome. Could've spent a long time here but it was at the end of a day ofdownpours and walking. Will be back next time we're in town. Read more

Bonhomme does it again. This is hands down my favorite wine bar in the city. The menu is full of the most globally eclectic... selection of wines and a beautiful variety of skin contact wines. The interior features a subtle Spanish influence and not adetail has been missed. Mixed patterns and textures, plush velvet bar stools, lush greenery and perfectly dimmed lighting.Funky, vibey, romantic, sexy, smooth, perfection! The cheese board was 10/10. Service was top notch. Music was on point. Ifyou're hungry, you can order some dishes from Beatnik next door. Love that they are open late while everything else in thisarea closes around 6 or 7. Do not miss out on this spot. It is a curated gem that stands out against the rest. Read more

How lucky are we to now have a natural wine bar so close to us! The transformation of what used to be Cafe Bonhomme to what is... now a quirky, intimate and cozy space gives you so much to look forward to and enjoy. Our bartender, Nick, had no qualmsserving us the crazy, funky, weird wines we?ve been searching for. Within 5 minutes of sitting, I had a glass of a crazy, stinkyred, and a little vermouth concoction. Both were earthy and smooth. My friends got glasses of interesting white and orange winesthat suited their palates. We also paired these great selections with equally awesome food. The vegetable flat bread, cheeseboard, and chicken liver pate were all perfect accompaniments to our drinks. We are definitely going to make this our localjoint. You would be missing out if you don?t stop by after a long day at work, or better yet, for absolutely no other reason butto enjoy interesting and delicious wines. Come through! Read more

My wife and I stopped at GoodFunk for dinner and some wine the day before Xmas eve, and it was a wonderful experience. It?s a... quirky place, but our server was very welcoming, knowledgeable and excited to have us try things. We sat at the bar, shared afew tasty small plates and had some delicious (and different) wines. Not surprisingly, everything paired well and the wines ourserver Alex recommended were great! We?re big fans of Porto, one of their other restaurants, but we?ll definitely be back toGoodFunk as well, and bring friends! Read more

Happy hour lasts from 4 to 7 pm, which includes half off wine bottles! The best part is you can sit outside and still take... advantage of the deals (not just at the bar)! The Spanish rose is so good! The food is also delicious, flavorful, and healthycompared to typical bar food. I can't wait to be back for many more happy hours! Read more
