DONT LET THE SMALL SIZE FOOL YOU!!!! THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM! Gold Goose specializes in Spanish-style bocadillos, which I... haven?t run into often in Chicago. The Harissa Spiced Chicken is my personal favorite: savory chicken thighs, rich tomatoRomesco sauce, and fermented peppers all create a memorable flavor profile. My friends also enjoyed the Jamon & Cheese sandwich,as well as the Bonito Tuna salad. We also shared a few of the menu items served on toast. The Peach and Prosciutto on toast.AMAZING!!! I?m usually not one to try foods with sweet and savory flavor profiles, but it was FANTASTIC!! I highly recommendgoing here with some friends and trying several items to share and experience all of the thoughtful flavor profiles andpresentation. Stopped in to grab a quick bite with my best friend and were originally planning to split the peach and prosciutto. After seeing... it coming out of the kitchen we decided we each wanted a whole one to ourselves !! The delicious bread piled high withprosciutto and juicy peaches made for a perfect midday snack. When I read that Gold Goose Tartine was founded by a famous Chicago chef who once worked at what is considered the best... restaurant in the world, Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark, I knew that they would be doing something really special here, but Icouldn't have imagined just how next-level awesome it would be. I tried the salmon gravlox smorrebrod with dill creme sauce, anda drink that was made from flowers and was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I have a feeling that this is going to bemy favorite new restaurant. I also truly appreciated the lengths I saw the staff take to social distance and observe greathygiene. They bleached down my outdoor table as I was walking away and I appreciated seeing the thoroughness with which theyhit the edges of the table and the arms of the chair.
