I just had a great grilled cheese!! The ladies in there were super nice and helpful. I think I got the Italian, which was... suggested to get with blue cheese. The sandwich was perfect and hit the spot. The shrooms, onions, and ooey gooey cheese were agreat combo for my pallet. I don't even like mushrooms. Thanks for making my lunch great. Thanks, Gayle. Save your time and money. Best Ever Grilled Cheese only by name. Visiting from out of town and needed a "quick bite". It was not... worth the long wait and typically I am willing to stand in really long lines for awesome food. We visited at about 3 pm. Asvisable in photos, our Southport, which was the classic with the onion marmalade, was so disappointing. We received two piecesof burnt bread with a small amount of filling. It's a nice atmosphere with live music but for the good of your wallet andstomach. I would skip this restaurant. Read more

Checking out the Tuesday Farmers Market at MCA, I followed the buttery grilled bread scents to find Gayle V's Best Ever Grilled... Cheese stand. I am here to testify that their name speaks the truth. We ordered the Classic and were not disappointed. Thesourdough bread was grilled to perfection. I really liked the flavor blend of the butterkaise cheese and bread and the textureof the grilled bread and melted cheese. It wasn't a meal. It was an experience.
