The best pizza that I’ve had. I got pistachio pesto and it was delicious. If you like to try something different I would... suggest getting this. We also got this delicious Nutella dessert. The staff was friendly and the wait for the food to get readywas also convenient. Read more

The food was awesome, but what I would love to give props for is their outstanding service. Hands down - the best we have... experienced in such a long time. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. They never let our table have even a crumb sit for longerthan 5 minutes. Excellent hospitality and amazing pizza, pasta, wine and desserts. Thank you Gallucci! We will be back. Read more

Arguably the best pizza I’ve ever had! Two-time pizza champion, Gianni Gallucci. This proclaimed award is NO LIE. This is an... ABSOLUTE MUST when in Chicago! I opted for the Inferno (San Marzano, basil, fior di latte, spicy salametti, Calabrian chilipeppers, hot chili oil) not only was the food OUTSTANDING it was accompanied with OUTSTANDING service too! I wish I took morepics but the food was just that amazing, don’t forget to order the Rice balls too….omg, I can’t wait to go back! Read more

All I have to say is wow. Our server was awesome and attentive and the food was so good. The meatballs were incredible and the... pizza was true Neapolitan style!! On the more expensive side for drinks and pizza in Chicago but I think it’s worth it!Can’t wait to come back. Read more

I lived in Italy for 6 yrs & am picky about pizza. But the pizza here is quite good, not excellent, but worth returning for.... Unfortunately, they've been CLOSED the last 3 times I've gone (during "open" hours, according to THEIR voicemail & Google Maps)!Geez, talk about disappointing. Hopefully they are still in business & are open some early evening around 8/9pm. UPDATEPOST-OWNER RESPONSE: Well, I'm glad to hear you're in business, but what kind of good business is it to "run out of dough" (yetagainnn) & close up & leave early? That's unbelievable business acumen. Good luck improving. I just can't risk a 4th visit withothers, to find the lights off & door locked that early. Read more

A really nice Neapolitan pizza, although like every other Neapolitan pizzeria in Chicago they don't use the cumbersome sourdough... so the crust is somewhat tasteless, albeit perfectly airy and leoparded. That said, the other components are excellent. It's notas good as Spacca Napoli (they don't use sourdough either) but much better than Forno Russo. Great vibe and service. I gave it a5* because of the location and speedy service, and also because I lost hope on finding an actually authentic pizzeria in Chicagothat uses sourdough, similar to NYC's San Matteo, a couple in Toronto, and everyone in Naples where dough is prepared 7 days inadvance (not very economically conscious). Crust looks great though as you can see, which is thanks to the fermentation. Read more

First time here and hands-down a 5-star establishment. Italian comfort food made from scratch, friendly and classic service -... What more can you ask for? Sit at the bar and watch pizza magic made in their unique oven. Pictured here is their Arancini - amust try(!) and their Tartufata pizza. Can't wait to try their red pizzas. Read more
