The staff is what makes this place truly fun. The decor is very reminiscent of the '70s. I was born in 1984 so I have no idea... what that was like but I could see where someone could have a flashback there. Also, the bathrooms are immaculate. Lastly, thedrinks are great. Hi, I had a lovely time at your bar ( 07/26/22) with my friends until I asked for a trash bag from a bartender for my friend... outside who was unwell. After I asked for the bag the bartender said no get out and signaled security, we were very confused andasked why we needed security he told us we were dressed like ?slags? (we dressed in dressed like everyone else) and needed toget out. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted by an establishment and I will never be returning due to the so calledrepresentatives of staff, I have never felt more uncomfortable as a woman. . Stood at the bar for 15 minutes without the bartender acknowledging me. I finally waved my hand in the air so she came to take... my order. She said she thought I was just talking to my friend who already had a drink. I guess standing at the bar with nodrink in front of me trying to make eye contact with her for 15 minutes wasn?t a clear enough sign that I wanted to orderalcohol. It?s nice to know there?s a bar I can go to to have a chat with a friend and not be bothered to actually buy alcohol.I?m very sorry for not being as aggressive to get her attention as the stumbling drunks she served before me. I went to Frank's Bar with a group of friends for NYE. It was crowded but we were able to get a table. The atmosphere was very... cozy and service was superb for it to be a busy night. I had a tequila mixed drink for $5. It was good. I would visit again! Read more
Hands down my favorite bar in Lincoln park, somewhat dive bar-y but never fails to deliver. Staff are all nice and prices are... pretty good. The best part about Franks is that you can almost always get a booth or a seat, even on a weekend night. I?ve beenhere over 20 times at this point and it?s definitely my top spot for late night chill drinks. Read more
