The reason that my bill was almost $50 it's because I was greedy and tried to eat everything.. I had wings and French fries... delicious, I had turkey with dressing macaroni and cheese delicious delicious, I had cabbage, candies yams, peach cobbler, cornbread muffins. I had a taste of the collard greens and and green fried tomatoes it was delicious. I also had pound cake. Ifyou are ever in this neighborhood you have to stop they are hands down the best best sofo place on the Westside of Chicago. Read more

The name speaks for itself, the food is excellent and very flavorful and always served hot, nothing out of a can here, trust me... I have recomended Flavors Southern Cooking to all of my friends and family. The owner and staff are the most pleasant andgracious and keeps the restaurant a nice and clean atmosphere. There are not enough POSITIVE words to explain how I feel towards Flavor's. From the initial call, to the follow-up of my... Order, to the delivery, to the set-up and then the finale...THE FOOD! A-MA-ZING!!! The Owner, PROFESSIONAL. Her staff,PROFESSIONAL. The Food - Great! My job hosted a Juneteenth Celebration and it was my task to order the food for 75 people. Iwas given several restaurants to look at and none of them opened before 4pm (not good). I Googled "black-owned restaurants nearme". Flavor's was #4. I called...Jackie answered..."and the rest is history". If you are looking for a GREAT Black-Ownedrestaurant, Flavor's is the place to go! Thank you so much, Jackie...everyone LOVED the food. The fried catfish was crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. This place is legit. Delicious!

The food was good. We had Macaroni cheese, Short Ribs, Greens, Dressing, muffin, Peach Cobbler, Spaghetti,, Carmel Cake, Yams,... Catfish and Black eye peas, Everything was good. My only issues were Spaghetti too sweet (cut ba k on either the sugar orbellpeppers) Yams needed more flavor dressing was just OK quite a bit of sage tho, Vt he Carmel cake is not what I'm use to. Butwe will definately be back to try the other dishes, Peach Cobbler was Delicious Read more

Brilliantly stole my heart! This place far exceeded my expectations by simultaneously being the cleanest, friendliest, tastiest... and freshest soul food spot on the entire West side! I ordered the catfish, greens and red beans w/rice. They really underpromised and over delivered. Read more
