Went here for dinner 7/27/22 although the location is downtown Chicago this is NOT at all a sit down formal dinner type of place... but rather a fast food restaurant. You have to place your order at the counter, pick up your own drinks and condiments but yetthere is a tip jar at the register. It?s VERY small and quite frankly idk how they have been in business any length of time. Theemployees I encountered were cordial at the most but not helpful or informative to me as a first timer. The food was horrible!!!I ordered the two street chicken tacos with beans and rice(because it looked so good on the website). Nothing was fresh and foras long as it took to receive my order the food was not even hot. The rice was extremely hard which indicated being undercooked. The beans had no flavor and they were just luke warm. The chips were light and crispy but not warm or made fresh. Withthe salsa you can?t tell which was supposed to be hot or mild the only difference is the color. My husband had the steak burritoand was not impressed at all. This restaurant goes on my never visit again list! I?m really sick and tired of these restaurantsprices being over the top and the food quality and customer service being under the bus. We came in close to closing time and the guy at the front was very nice and accommodating. He set up a table for us and was... helpful with all the questions we had about the menu. I had the vegan burrito and my friend had the pablano tacos. The chips andsalsa were also delicious. We also tried the house margarita and it was delicious! Hit or miss here. Food is usually yummy, but I'm often missing items from my order. The level of spice in certain dishes also... seems to vary a lot from day to day. The tables and benches inside are not usually cleaned off when I visit, so it's not thenicest place to dine in -- usually take it back to the apartment. Read more
