First time at this Five Guys and like most of them received a delicious cheeseburger and fries. Service was friendly and my... burger was delivered exactly as ordered. It was absolutely amazing, juicy, moist, deliciousness with thick but crunchy bacon.The fries are good. Don't forget to snack on the peanuts. It's in downtown Chicago so way overpriced. It was good! My mom and daughter got hot dogs. They loved that they slice the dog in... half and grilled it! I had a veggie sandwich. I think a different bread would have been better suited with it (not a softtoasted hamburger bun). Read more
Decent burger, even would say 4.25 stars out of 5.......EXCEPT ITS RO DANG EXPENSIVE TO EAT THERE! Ok, so I'm comparing it to... Culver's. Compared to the Bad guys like McD's, I would give Five Guys 50 Stars!!! It's just to expensive again, and IPERSONALLY DONT CARE FOR THEIR FRIES. In all fairness, a friend told mE "they go there cuz they like the ????....go figure. Culver's has them by a Loooong shot! Actually I left there hungry and spent and extra $3 . It's five guys, good burgers that always meet your expectations. Always order the small fries as they'll throw in a lot of extra... fries in your bag. It's not the best burger shop but it's consistent among its different locations. Much better than McDonald's,burger king, Carl's jr or any other big chain. Read more
Never disappointed when I go here. I don't regularly eat burgers from fast-food chains or very often. But Five Guys is one of... two go-tos in the city. My favorite is the Little Cheeseburger - "All the Way." Food is always consistently well prepared andstaff members are always friendly and fun. Glad to be able to dine in and enjoy the peanuts again! Ordered a small bacon cheeseburger ?all the way toppings? today, a banana chocolate shake, and small Cajun fry. I got my... milkshake, and burger. And left for home and checked my bag and saw that I never got my fries that I ordered! So basically I gotripped off, and payed for a full on meal with an item missing. Literally the fries are right next to the pick up booth, and itsays in big letters on my food ticket ?one small Cajun fry?. How hard can it be to remember to put it in my bag? Was too upsetto go back for them to finally put fries in my bag, and ended up just forgetting about that and eating my burger at home! Andtoday the bun was kinda dry/toasted like which they never do. Weird???? The people working there were friendly yet not payingproper attention to the orders. I clearly said I wanted fries with my burger, and never got no fries. The lady that handed me mybag was friendly and complemented my vans shoes(which is nice) but at least you could?ve put fries with my burger??? Read more
Consistently good service with a tasty Five Guys double bacon cheese burger with grilled peppers, lettuce and tomato topping... with complimentary in shell peanuts. Great location to fuel up before catching the CTA Green to Blue trains to O'Hare airport.Washed it down with a bottle of water I needed to drain before arriving to TSA. Read more
