This has always been my spot. Unfortunately, I think it?s been relegated to weeknights only. If you venture during peak hours on... a weekend- it is a dance party. If you are over 35, you will likely feel a smidge too old. That said, great jams and energy-just loud and lively. Drinks are solid. Love the old school vibe and secret DJ booth. Great atmosphere and I don?t feel claustrophobic unlike SOME bars which I refuse to name because I don?t actually have a bar in... mind. Did you see they were making a prequel to How I Met Your Mother and oh brother. Maybe the claustrophobic bar I?m imaginingis the one in that show that has such a chokehold on frat bros and created a playbook of obnoxious catch phrases. The piñacolada could do with more alcohol because two of those down and I don?t feel properly sauced. Anyways happy birthday Bria. Read more
Great welcoming place. They have cheap drinks an the crowd is very social. Also it is kind of roomy so you won't get... claustrophobic haha. I surely recommend it for a casual night out. Read more
I wasn't sure how this place was going to be before I came, and ended up being pretty cool. I wasn't sure about the crowd,... either, and when I stepped in, there were nothing but positive vibes running all around, at least the particular night I wasthere (and at bars, there's usually least a little negative energy from a few people, being that alcohol is involved). I didn'tsee too much diversity from the crowd, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. EZ Inn was cool enough to be hosting agroup of people throwing a going away party for someone, and the group was allowed to bring their pizza and candy to the tablesin the back. Staff was really nice, too, which I think it's hard to find bar staff actually that nice somewhere- like it waspacked, and the bartenders were actually nice when having to get through the sea of people for things (as opposed to the visual,I-hate- people-face you normally see staff at other bars, having to get through people...but the crowd was nice and cool, somaybe that helped). Prices were pretty inexpensive. They have some unique concoctions there, can do those fancy whiskeycocktails that-you-stir-for-25-revolutions type of deal (i.e. Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, ect.), plus they're not too stuck upto serve real American beer, like Old Style, Coors Banquet, and Miller High Life.
