very nice place with a cozy atmosphere and great customer service, food was well priced and good quality, paid about 65$ for the... food in the pictures (including drinks) 10/10 would like to go again. our waitress was very nice and always made sure we werewell taken care of. specifics about the food if you’re interested to read: appetizers: we got pretzel bites with cheese. thecheese was really great, it was very light and the flavor didn’t overwhelm the pretzel at all. way better than the artificialcheese that usually takes over the appetizer. the pretzel bites were seasoned surprisingly well, with a lot of garlic and salt.the steak salad was amazing, the steak was well seasoned and the salad was crisp, with no soggy greens. personally there was alittle bit too much fat on some steak pieces, but i just cut the fatty parts off (i’m also notoriously squeamish about fattymeat) the burger was great, pretty much your average pub burger. the dessert was incredible, we got the big ben brownie and itwas big enough to share for two, and way more than i thought we’d get for the price. the cake is really rich and the ice creamis nice and sweet. overall food was really good, nothing to complain about. The best pub we have ever eaten at! Great service, amazing food, and amazing cocktails. The pretzel bites were to die for with... beer cheese and bacon served on a skillet for dipping, and the butter chicken flatbread is absolutely delicious! Read more

Good Restaurant and good outdoor space to sit and enjoy awesome weather outside for Chicago Summer time. Their food was good,... but I loved their green salad the most. I gave this place 2 stars because at first we got seated and no server showed up forabout 20minutes, and I had to go by myself to ask someone to give us some service. Then, we ordered our food and it took aboutan hour to serve us our food. I got upset and went to talk at the end with one of the manager, and he didn’t seem to care alot about our experience. Nice atmosphere! We started off with the crisps and dip which we all enjoyed it had 3 different dips( curry ketchup, dill dip,... and creamy Dijon aioli). For drinks we ordered the red Hemingway and the southern elder( we liked both) For my meal I orderedthe Cajun Cesar wrap with fries I thought it had really good flavor. My friends ordered the fish & chips and the chicken pot pieboth were tasty and all were good portion size. Last but not least we ordered one Big Ben brownie sundae and one bread pudding, the brownie was good but the bread pudding was absolutely to die for I would go back just for a bread pudding???? Cool atmosphere and really good food. My wife got the fish sandwich and it was excellent. I got the bangers and mash it was... good, but I’ll probably go with the fish sandwich or fish and chips next time. We got the bread pudding for desert and it wasout of this world. Although I stuck with my Guinness, I was very impressed with their beer selection. This place will be aregular stop for us when we visit Chicago. Read more

Craving beers, bar food and sports... head to Elephant & Castle. Stopped in to catch the NFC Championship and the beers were on... point. Apex Predator and Black and tans are so good from the tap. Really surprised to have vegetarian options at a pub. Munchedon sweet potato fries and the aioli is highly recommended as a side for dipping. The vegetable pie and veggie wrap with friessatisfied hunger and is shareable. The service is well paced, friendly and kitchen was extremely fast in getting entrees out.Booths are well padded and comfy to watch your favorite sports. This Elephant & Castle earned their five stars, you won't bedisappointed. Read more
