I enjoyed the handmade corn tortilla. If you let it soak too long then it is prone to breaking, but if you eat your food right... away, it tastes very good and does not break. It would be nice to have two corn tortillas together to catch the taco droppings,but they make thicker ones instead. Chicken tinga is good, al pastor is good, but chorizo isn't the best. So even though it looks amazing , this is the driest taco on the driest tortilla that I have ever had ever with or without... salsa. However the quesadillas are excellent and the horchata is delicious, but the price point is ridiculous even for peoplelike myself who love love love supporting private business. They add all sorts of ridiculous taxes that the business itselfshould be paying to your bill, not to mention they are not a full-service restaurant. Read more

Great food, good portions, nice and clean atmosphere. Modernized Mexican restaurant. Had the fish tacos, a corn in a cup, and I... had to try their mole fries. Fish tacos where awesome, they put a chipotle salsa on them which was nice! Corn was warm, sweetand juicy and the mayo, cheese and powdered chile really gave it a kick. I was expecting more out of the Mole fries but thepotatoes it self was a little to bland for me. It was good, I just expected more. My opinion. Read more
Excellent, fresh, and high quality. Unbeatable. I?ve lived in Chicago a little over 2 years and before that, Texas. I cannot... think of a place with better fish tacos and salad. Highlights: GLUTEN FREE fried fish tacos. Favorites: Fish tacos (fried orgrilled) Southwestern Salad Fresh made corn tortillas!!! AMAZING! Three fresh salsas and they are all amazing. Tips: check outthe lunch specials: incredible value for the high quality product you receive! Know before you go: BYOB. I have only been forlunch but I see that they do sell a homemade margarita mix. There is a liquor store next door. Two non-food related praises: 1)The absolute cleanliness of this restaurant. I?ve been 8 times in the last 2 weeks and have not once encountered a sticky tableor dirty floor. Prior to that, a few time?s and the same experience. 2) The staff: everyone is friendly and whether you call ororder in person you can order in English or Spanish (I love this!) My daughter and I finally made it there today.it was good it was really good the beans were really tasty!! The steak tacos were... really good as well and the green sauce I should?ve got some of that and brought it home with me but I?ll be back to get somemore thanks for a great experience. Read more
