Tues evening on the patio, drinks and meeting up with friends we haven't seen in awhile. Our bartender was top notch.
Wish I could call Easy Bar a dive, because I use that term lovingly. The pool table up front implies it is. The dinosaur... decorations similarly are low-key and fun. The prices are fair. The thing is, I can't call it a dive. That's because it'sdecorated very nicely. The candles, the dark wood and red walls, the fancy tile ceiling, the lamps, all very Division Streetclassy. And if you were gonna debate me, go around back to the 2nd bar. The low tables with plush booths are lounge style.Classy like a downtown bar. And that's a compliment. Read more
Good Chicago bar atmosphere. Placed picked up the pace and was fun. The bartender was awkward about tipping, that was a buzz... kill. If tips were taken beer by beer, keep the change, would have been simple. Held the change from each beer myself andsuppose the quarters in the pile of bills was not well received... 25% tip about, each beer or at the end. Anyway... Read more

One of the best low key dive bars I've been to. Easy Bar is at a great location on Division in Wicker Park. There's a pool table... right up front as you walk in. The area towards the back with the decorative lights and comfortable furniture creates a greatloungy experience. The long bar up front with high top seating is great for a regular bar feel. The drinks are great and veryreasonably priced. They have a lot of great drink specials every day of the week. I love the service as well. The staff isextremely friendly and quick.
