Tues evening on the patio, drinks and meeting up with friends we haven't seen in awhile. Our bartender was top notch.
Wish I could call Easy Bar a dive, because I use that term lovingly. The pool table up front implies it is. The dinosaur... decorations similarly are low-key and fun. The prices are fair. The thing is, I can't call it a dive. That's because it'sdecorated very nicely. The candles, the dark wood and red walls, the fancy tile ceiling, the lamps, all very Division Streetclassy. Good Chicago bar atmosphere. Placed picked up the pace and was fun. The bartender was awkward about tipping, that was a buzz... kill. If tips were taken beer by beer, keep the change, would have been simple.
