If you like a thumb nail of coffee with a gallon of ice...please visit!! I swear, the dude (typically) puts a whole cup of ice... with perhaps an inch of coffee in my 'iced' coffee. This has happened on multiple occasions:( WAAAYYYYY too much ice and notenough coffee. I don't NEED a cup of ice, now 'iced coffee' would be awesome!! STOP giving customers a cup of ice with asplash of coffee. I think I will simply continue to go out of way to the DD on 67th and Kedzie!!! They serve an appropriateamount of ICE with equal amounts of coffee!! Read more
If I could give lower rating I would but this feature requires at least a 1-star rating. I work within walking distance of this... DD which is extremely convenient if I want to pick up a bagel or a coffee from time to time. This morning I was very early forwork and decided to stop in for a bagel but the manner in which I treated has lead me to reach the conclusion that I will nevergo back to this DD again. I was the only customer in the store, I ordered a bagel with plain cream cheese, and after watchingthe three DD workers moving about to fulfill drive through orders, I inquired about my order. One of the workers, who had on ahead set and was fulfilling orders for those in the drive through said, "your order is over there" and pointed to a far end ofthe counter blocked by a small partition. This is the 1st time going into this store where my order was not given to me, so Iasked why I was not informed that the order was ready and the employee stated, "I called your name three times, if you weren'ton your phone you would have heard me" however, that statement could not have been true because I never gave my name and Imaintained eye contact with the employee to ensure that I could get my order to ensure that I arrived to work on time. Iexplained that it was a false statement and how rudely I had been spoken to. I will follow the guide of my other co-workers andgo to the DD location on 95th and Western, the selection is larger and reportedly they treat you better. I believe that goodcustomer service is a basic and foundational service and if you can't get that right, I would rather take my money where theycan. Read more
Ordered a vanilla Iced coffee and tasted really watered down like it was old coffee. Not the first time this has happened.
I had to wait longer than expected, but overall it was good.
