Incredibly happy I found such a great breakfast place in Albany Park. Everything was world class. I am incredibly picky about... Chilaquiles. This place has the best Chilaquiles in Chicago! I do not say that lightly. Chips were still crispy, the salsa hadjust enough bite and a ton of flavor, sour cream, crumbled queso, ripe avocado, and radish. Fresh black beans with perfecttexture. Whole dish was perfect. Doesn?t get better, sincerely. Dark Matter coffee expertly made. It was so good I went aheadand ordered one of the dessert crepes because I was curious. Beyond BLOWN AWAY & IMPRESSED ! Im not exaggerating. I don?t write many reviews BUT this one was a must. Impeccably clean.... Friendly, attentive and knowledgable service. The menu items are explained and yes they have gluten free and vegetarian options.AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE INCREDIBLE DRINKS ! The food is nearly made by hands of angel chefs ! Make sure you saveroom for dessert; you will not be disappointed ! Everything was perfectly seasoned, perfect temperature and generousportions. My only complaint ?. Highly recommend this place! The food has a very authentic taste. I have tried chilaquiles in many different restaurants/brunch... spots but I have to say, this is by far my favorite! This new cafe in Albany Park is a must try. They were named by Albany Park Chamber of commerce "Best Coffee" and "Best New... Business" for 2021. The cafe ambience is fresh and hip and they also have colorful murals and display artwork from local artiststhat you can also purchase. They have an interesting variety of flavored latte to choose from and Dulce de leche is a must tryand their specialty as well. If you are into creamy latte, this one is for you. It's not too sweet so the blend is perfect. Theyalso offer Lavender Latte which is something to try if you're looking for something new and different. The cafe also offersbreakfast , sandwiches and their specialty crepes. They have a variety of crepes to choose from like the all time favoritenutella crepe. Read more
I?m so happy I went to Dulce de Leche Cafe! Food is wonderful!!! I tried the torta ahogada and it was AMAZING, I ordered the... triple chocolate crepe with a side of the mazapan cream cheese (is something else!). The horchata and dulce de leche lattes werealso incredibly tasty, perfect amount of sweetness. Last but not least, service is great, staff is friendly and make you feelwelcome. Can?t wait to go back! Enjoyed the cappuccino. It was heavy on the milk, but I know that?s how people over here generally prefer it which makes it hard... to find an authentic cappuccino. The milk was prepared well and the quality of the coffee was good. Returned for breakfast andwas a bit disappointed. I explained that I was on my bike and asked if it was possible to package it well. I arrived to findjumbled breakfast with find contents spilled in the bag. I reached out and they said they would work on it. So, I would sayavoid to go orders for now. Read more
