Good food, good service, and good seating. The “Burnt Ends Hash” and “Taco Norteño” are really good and packed with... flavor. The brisket for both dishes were cooked perfectly. Read more

Came here for breakfast and ate out on their quaint patio. I ordered the Dove’s Deluxe with sunny side up eggs and it was just... right. The potatoes are absolutely wonderful ???? and they’ve got a nice and thick cut bacon. They serve La Colombe coffee sothat’s also a plus! Bathrooms are clean and gender neutral which is always nice and inviting to see. Looking forward tocoming back for dinner sometime soon! Read more

The burnt ends hash I got was delicious. For brisket that wasn’t coming from a BBQ joint, they did a pretty good job. It... wasn’t the same kind of thing you would get in Texas, but it was pretty tender. Honestly the potatoes were the star of theshow. I don’t know how they got them to be so crispy! Service was fast and really friendly Read more

When planning a two day trip to Chicago to try different foods, this was on my list thanks to a Tiktok showcasing their two most... popular dishes (also confirmed by our waitress). The Chicken Fried Chicken was pretty great, though I did expect more of a punchin flavor from the chorizo gravy. However, their fried chicken is a masterpiece of freshness, crispiness, and juiciness. You cantell they use high quality ingredients. The STAR of the show, and in fact of our ENTIRE trip, was the burnt ends hash. Tenderpieces of pork belly, amazingly crispy and seasoned potatoes, a great yolky egg, and an amazing chipotle sauce. It was extremelyfull of flavor and our favorite dish from dozens of places we tried during our trip. 10/10 would come back just for this dish. Read more

Their social media page is curated very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the diner appeal. I enjoy ordering the Dove’s... Deluxe; the potatoes have a perfect crunch and the Texas toast tastes like it’s made with freshly churned butter. The drinksare well crafted and are recommended for an acquired taste as they are not your standard brunch drinks. Read more

Went to Dove’s off advice from a bartender, it was great! We stopped for a late breakfast/lunch. The spot is like an old... dinner that’s turning out some fantastic food. We got the chicken fried chicken and the burnt ends hash. Both were really goodand we ended up splitting both. Also had some cocktails..cause why not! Read more

So happy that Doves is re-open and local restaurants like Doves was able to make it thru the pandemic. I’ve never had a bad... meal so my 5 star rating is based on multiple visits. I was super happy that they had available their “back to lifecocktail”…basically a very tasty ceviche. If you have never been, the restaurant is a small space with mostly counterseating a a few communal tables. Read more

Dove’s is an experience; beautiful windows, charmingly decorated, always bustling, warm and cozy. The food may surprise you... with its classic fare but with unique and flavorful taste. You may read a dish and feel it familiar, then taste it and findit’s better than what you had. Don’t fear the basic and enjoy all they have to offer; avocado toast (anything with theirthick slices is a win) or chilaquiles, all are hearty! If you don’t want as much at once, try asking for them as sides orsmall plates. The service is always kind and though seating can feel tight, it doesn’t feel stuffy. Best place to peoplewatch!
