The food and coffee here is extremely good. The service is also top notch. All of the staff is always smiling and singing the... songs. This is a wonderful place to come and grab a bite to eat while working or meeting a friend. They also serve breakfast ALLday! Coffee is great, but food was a huge miss. $10 for hamburger buns, 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese? Ok?

Firstly I'd like to start with the staff is very nice. Our waiter was very good to us and patient. I felt comfortable ordering... without feeling pressured to do things fast like in other places. Very good quiet environment for studying. Or for a peacefulcoffee meeting. Unfortunately, I will be giving this place 3 stars, due to my brother getting sick after eating a chickensandwich from here, and it wasn't until he nearly finished the sandwich where he had noticed that some of the meat was pink. Iasked him to let me see and indeed the chicken did not seem to be cooked properly. I must admit it was my fault for not speakingup about this in the restaurant. I was hoping it was just the sauce. But through out the day I've only regretted even more notsaying a thing. My brother felt very ill and hours later he increasingly got worse. I just want to warn people about this. I really like having this place in South Loop, the atmosphere is nice, the distribution and decoration are well put together.... Good coffe and well prepared. Food is good although not 100% consistent (i.e. overcooked eggs on occasions). The service can bea little bit better. Read more
