This place makes the best cheese pizza. Their crust recipe is thin and perfect. The sauce is perfectly seasoned and sweet. The... cheese is absolutely the best. The food is hot and baked to perfection ???????? I love the quality of ingredients for theircheese pizza. A lot of places use generic, rubbery and bland cheese. The cheese Di Vita's uses is the perfect combination ofsweet, salty and greasy. I love getting a slice from here when I'm a show across the street. I'm honestly more excited aboutgetting a slice of cheese and smashing it at SL, than I am for the actual show. Read more
I?ve been ordering from here since the 80?s! My father used to be the delivery driver here years ago. The thin crust pizza is... the best! It still tastes the same from years ago! If you like thin crust pizza this place is the best! Not too much cheese, orsauce it?s very balanced, with all the right ingredients. ???? Read more
Our very first order was in early November. The Italian Beef Sandwich was outstanding!! The beef was sliced - not minced - like... the local brand chain. The au jus sauce is seasoned perfectly, not too spicy. The green peppers are generous, too. The Di Vita'sSpecial Pizza was okay, initially. The crust was overcooked and the cheese was too thick. However, on today's order - 12/14/21- we learned that there was a temporary cook when we ordered in November, which accounted for the average pizza. Today's pizzawas excellent!!! The mushrooms and green peppers were copious. The Italian sausage and onions were just right for the large-sizethin crust. The edges were very crispy, but not burned at all. The sauce is just right for the thin crust. Although the pizzawas still hot, the bottom of the crust was a little soggy from the delivery process. However, we use our reheating method. Placesome slices in a metal frying pan and cover the pan under low-heat for 4-5 minutes. Result: the crust is crispy once again andthe cheese is melted perfectly. YUM!!! The Breaded Zucchini was hot and crispy, still. They were excellent along with thedipping sauce. Once again, the Italian Beef was excellent! The beef is plentiful and juicy. We ordered deluxe this time, withCrinkle Cut Fries and Coleslaw. Lastly, Linda at the restaurant, is absolutely fantastic in hospitality and customer service! She is polite and accurate when reviewing your order. You definitely get the bang for your bucks from Di Vita's!!!. We will trytheir dinner specials in our future orders. Pictures include: Large 14inch Thin Crust Di Vita's Special Pizza - ItalianSausage, Mushrooms, Green Peppers and Onions, The remaining half of the deluxe Italian Beef order and Fries. Unfortunately, thebreaded zucchini never made it to the camera. They were so good! Read more
Not good. I know that you get what you pay for and I wasn?t expecting a very good pizza especially from a banquet-type place. So... I?ll stick to Mama Luna?s for this; lesson learned. I ordered the special and the mushrooms used are those canned mushrooms fromALDI (trust me I?ve ate them before), and the green peppers were so over cooked that they looked translucent (see pic). It alsohad a weird sour taste to the bite. If you see that it was eaten it was because we were starving, so imagine how disappointingit is for something to taste badly when you?re basically starving! That?s hard to happen. Read more
