Stopped in for a quick lunch after hopping off the Amtrak at Union Station. The place is super clean with plenty of seating. ... The kitchen is out in the open behind the cashier so you can see your meal being prepared. The spicy chicken wasn't exactlyspicy, but was still flavorful and not dry. Read more
Glad I found this place. Uber clean. Excellent food. The vegetable Galaya and the rice were superb. My new favorite lunch place
Really tasty! Great atmosphere. We came in while waiting for a train out of town with a few hours to kill before our departure.... I got the Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and my partner got the Chicken Kabob sandwich. We also got Dawali Fries, but we ate thosetoo fast to get a picture. Everything was lovingly made and very fresh with generous portions and good prices. Happy we came in!If we didn?t live so far away, we?d be regulars. Great job! Read more
I cannot express within the limitations of the English language how good this is. If you've ever seen the movie Ratatouille when... the critic bites into the meal and has flashbacks to his childhood? That's me currently. I'm actually taking the falafel andhummus back home to Texas right now, as I feel a moral duty to share this with everyone I know, though it might not make it homeand will nigh certainly end up eaten before we make it Not only is this the best "Mediterranean" I've ever had, it's the bestfood I've ever had. Ever. I damn near cried at the table into my flavorful curried french fries, my perfectly crispy andperfectly fluffy falafel, and my smooth and decadent hummus. It's made fresh, and sure as hell worth the wait. You can see thesteam coming off the falafel! The first bite had me reeling, and the plates were completely cleaned. Also? This is the bestprice I have ever seen. $18 for the best culinary experience of my life is highway robbery, and honestly I would sell my soul totry it again for the first time. Read more
Great service (they are really nice there) and good food (I love the chicken Shawarma wrap and the Baklava). The Falafel is... decent and the place is comfy (the regular chair are less comfy) with lovely decor. Next time I'm gonna try the Sabich ???? Read more
???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? A simple, delicious,... and healthy meal. A plate full of flame-grilled, finely diced, chicken, surrounded by hummus. The chicken was perfectly cookedand very tender; the hummus was nice, tangy and flavorful. If you didn't already know, chicken is an excellent protein source, hummus provides complex carbs and fiber, and the drizzle of olive oil is all about healthy fats. For this restaurant inparticular though, we would recommend sticking with the appetizers ? they were good. The entrees, except this one, were just OK,nothing that would make us revisit this place. We had a few complaints about the service too. They had just one more table toserve, and still, our server forgot something and everything was moving very slow. Be prepared. . Read more
So delicious! The owners are so kind. I got the combo plate with delicious chicken shawarma, beef kebob and a side of lentil... soup. The garlic sauce rocks and the pita is so tasty. What a great neighborhood spot. Read more
