Dak wings are huge and delicious but folks, the beef Dukbokki are to die for. Can't wait to go back!
As some others have pointed out, Dak is most definitely an important part of this area. I don't recall it having much popularity... among students per se, but it is not because it's bad -- it's a hidden gem. That Dak is a Korean family-owned business is initself significant. The prices are a bit steep, but at the same time, no other food frankly tastes like this except for a selectfew; having really good Korean food in this area is a game changer and is certainly less common than other cuisines. I hope morepeople will patron this business so as to help them make it through the (still ongoing) pandemic. I've seen way too many localrestaurants close down during the past couple years. My favorite place of all time to get Bibimbap! I always get the tofu (regular or spicy). I moved away from Chicago and made a... point to come back here. They did not disappoint! The food is as delicious as ever! Read more

I got some wings with the dak sauce which were good bits not outstanding. Compared to other wings I have tried, I definitely... think they are competitive in terms of size, flavor, originality, and quality. I was super full after eating three wings andtheir kimchi (which was delicious). Read more
It's so interesting! I've never been to a restaurant like it before. The chicken wings are HUGE! They're the actual whole wing.... The sauces are flavorful and the bowls are full of vegetables. Nothing tastes greasy or frozen. Would recommend! Read more
