Reviews for Crosby's Kitchen in Chicago, IL
Great place in Wrigleyville with a good amount of outdoor seating. There's a focus on grilled items on the menu and I tried the... thick cut pork chop. It was really flavorful but just a bit overcooked for my liking, an easy issue to correct with on my nextvisit. Key lime pie and lobster deviled eggs were delicious and my dining companion enjoyed the bbq salmon as well. Read more
've been here a few times and the food is always great. I definitely recommend the monkey bread. It is amazingly gooey and... sweet. The menu can be a little confusing, and lacks some details. For example, I ordered an omelette. The menu does notmention anything about getting a side or a choice of bread, but you do. Be warned the hash browns are more of a casserole-shredded potatoes mixed with what seems like cream of chicken soup or something similar. I wasn't a huge fan. Appreciate itbeing different, but would have appreciated a heads up or description in the menu. Read more
They use RUSTED SKILLETS to serve and prepare food. I agree the atmosphere and food taste was good, but do you really want to... mess up your health for that? I ordered the Southwest Chicken Skillet and when I noticed the rust I called the server and askedhim "why would you serve me food in a rusted skillet?", he said let me check and get back to you and the next minute he showsup with a bill and leaves. Will be filing a compliant with the City Health Inspection department! Read more
Great food and wonderful outdoor seating. I felt like I was lacking an ice cold strawberry lemonade on a warm day! I also think... my short rib rigatoni would have been better complimented by some pennè. Read more
Food was lightly seasoned and I would prefer more flavor and seasonings. My steak was cooked perfectly but was on the bland... side. Potatoes were delish. Cheese curds a little greasy. Salmon was a little overcooked but it was probably the better dish forrestaurant week. Salad was good. Read more
A splendid sense of customer service. The staff always cheerful around all the customers. The food was an impeccable display of... tasteful chicken. The staff was amazingly knowledgeable on all the items on the menu and are more than willing to assist onpicking out all the wonderful dishes they have to offer. The food itself is a sight to enjoy, once more the staff checks on thetable to allow for a continous pleasant visit. I would recommend others to dine-in and experience this dish or any other. Great place for lunch! Everything we got had large portions and was really flavorful. They have many rotisserie options, so I... tried the first item under their signatures section, the Wood Roasted Chicken and Biscuits. The spinach dip was also reallynice. My friends got the Wrightwood Salad and enjoyed it too. The staff was friendly and helpful and the overall ambiance isnice for a slow-paced lunch meeting or catching up with friends. I’ve heard great things about their brunch, so I’ll haveto come back again soon. Read more
I’ve been to this place several times and I stopped by today and was pretty disappointed. The lobster devil eggs were bomb but... then a few weird things happened. The fried egg sandwich was cold and didn’t really have bacon on it. I was expecting a BEC. Iasked the waiter and he agreed but did nothing about it to resolve the situation. He also asked if Tito’s was okay in thebloody, “sure Tito’s is great”, But then there was an up charge. Sadly, I’m not sure I would come back again. Read more
