Location is great! They accommodate furry friends! Thank you! The manager even made sure my pup had water. I had a lobster roll... and my wife had burrata. Sounds like the burrata was good because it is hard to mess up…..however, let’s talk about thelobster roll. Now, I only ordered it because my son wanted to share. The price was fair at $29; however, compared to a legitlobster roll, City Winery skimped on lobster. No claw meat or tail meat was distinguishable. They toss a chopped up chili withseeds and pith so the level of spice is ~20x a jalapeño, which is fine, but 100% masked any lobster flavor that should havebeen present. The roll also came out cold, though it was toasted and should have been hot. This is difficult to accomplish on aday that is 90°. My chips were also soggy and were bbq chips not truffle chips as promised on the menu. I’ve been to the NYClocation many times and the food there is outstanding. Unfortunately, the food in Chicago left me feeling like I should havejust grabbed a Wawa burger. Read more

I decided to stop in this little place for a nice glass of bubbles by the river. I won't lie that I wasn't expecting much, and... was mostly expecting a decent view. There are two sides of this establishment. The right side is for self service and the leftside is for table service. I personally only did the left side of the restaurant as I wanted a sit down experience. I ended upbeing pleasantly surprised, the staff were friendly and the cava was good. As the wine served is all a part of the city wineryvineyards it's not easy to check and find out what is good without just trying it. I cannot rate the quality of the food orother beverages, but if you want to enjoy bubbles downtown on the river this place is a great spot. Read more
