I went with my family before the theatre and it was really disappointing. The host was very nice and our waiter, when he was... present, was nice as well...but fairly non-existent most of our visit. Our food came out quickly, but was below average. Mywife's meal was swimming in butter and the chicken was over-pulverized in an attempt at tenderizing. My daughter took half thestuff off her tacos trying to find what was burning her tongue (nothing on the menu indicated it would be spicy) and our chipsand quac appetizer was lacking as well. We hardly ever saw our server after our food was delivered. We had to flag down the hostin order to ask for our check -- which took another 10-15m for our server to come and ask if we wanted our check...and another10-15m for him to return with it. Our entire meal took less time to receive and consume than it did to get our check after. If Ithought we would've gotten a positive response in a timely manner, I would've asked for the manager to receive a free meal. Read more

City Social Very nice place, my husband and I stop for lunch while we where doing errands in the city. Let me tell you how nice... was our waitress Edgar ,very efficient and genderman to answers our questions about food and drinks. The GM Mark very very nicewith their clients also with their people who work in the restaurant. Ok The food we order and drinks was Mezcal Paloma,Hotsummer girl made with Aperol, wich both were very tasty. Mezcal and Tequila are made from the same agave, but the Mezcal is madefrom burn agave that make that drink tasted very smoky very delicious . The crab cake Hamburger was fenomenal, curds cheese had arich flavor of chive ,firt time trying a different flavor of curds Cheese, you better TRY those, were yummy! . About the beerthat my husband order was Casa blanca very fruity and a Heezy IPA,also the food that he order was the classic Hamburger withcrunchy tatortots he say was good. I hope you guys can stop by social city while you are visiting THE BEAUTIFUL City ofChicago! Read more

Neto was a great time his evening. Visiting as a manager from another restaurant, my observation was that he was very attentive,... even being the only bartender at the time. The location was nice and chill with a good selection of food and drinks. I recommendthe jambalaya which was very flavorful. Music was great and it's definitely somewhere I'll visit again in Chicago! This is a good lunch, happy hour or pre-theater option in the loop. Good variety of tacos, bar food, salads and entree's.... Something for everyone. After an unsuccessful attempt to make a group reservation online, I tried to call but there was an issuewith the phone system. I emailed the manager through the website link and he got back to me promptly (after the lunch rush :).Great communication and very appreciated in these times! Read more

We stopped in for lunch. The drinks here are SO good, (I had the Purple Rain and had to order 2 of them it was that good).... Service was nice for a very quiet lunch crowd. The menu for food is a bit uninspired though. Everything tasted great but wassurprised that they didn't really have too many wow options on their menu. Really, I just enjoyed those drinks. Read more

Nice place for lunch in downtown with plenty of tables. I went around noon but didn't need a reservation for 4. The salad I had... was good but would have preferred a bigger piece of salmon and a smaller crouton. The table outside was also a bit cramped butthere is a neat mosaic over the tables. Read more
