There is little more that I hate than a liar. And you can expect one at this Chipotle. I arrived at 9:55 PM with the intention... of picking up food. The doors were locked. There were people eating inside. Closing time was printed as 10 PM. After rattling onthe doors for minutes, the manager finally came out telling me "We're closed." I pointed out that the listed closing time hadnot yet occurred, and I ordered for pickup intending to eat inside, and not on the sidewalk. The manager insisted they wereclosed. I would give no star if there was an option. This evening around 9.30 I went there and ordered a chicken bowl, and a Sprite. The... rice was not fresh, found a small piece of stone inside the rice. The meal was less in amount in comparison to other chipotlelocations I have been. Then I got water(tasted awfully bad) from the Sprite fountain dispenser! I mean really? Then, when I wentto the counter and told the guy about it, he didn?t even say sorry or anything, he said that he will check and kept me waitingthere leaving my meal, after around 5min he came back and told ?sorry about it? in a very casual manner as if this was prettynormal to get smelly water from a sprite fountain! No sign of apology or anything in his voice/attitude. Then he gave me anotherempty glass and I decided to take coke this time. Now guess what! The coke from their fountain had its color, but no flavor, itWAS WATERY too. Couldn?t drink it, left on their bin. Terrible food, terrible customer service. Avoid this location if possible. If you want anything fresh this is not the place for you. Everything was dehydrated and dry, including stale chips. I was also... told that my order had double protein when I didn?t order it due to the color marker (red) used by the line workers. I ordered from the Chipotle website and my order ended up coming from this location. It was the worst order I have gotten from... Chipotle in a long time! This is my second or third time ordering from online for delivery; this is my first time ordering fordelivery from my new place in Chicago. I got a chicken burrito bowl with double meat, a side order of guac, a tortilla shell,and 1 steak taco. The steak taco barely had any meat on it. I used my fork to move all of the veggies around and sureenough...barely any meat. Also when I bit into the taco, there was so much water that oozed out! The taco instantly got soggy.The tortilla shell was so hard when I tried rolling it into a burrito, it started breaking and crumbling! It?s supposed to besoft. My chicken burrito bowl also barely had any meat. I paid for double meat and it was like the restaurant only used thelittle scrapings left in the bottom of the container while they made a new order of chicken! I got chicken scraps, not chicken!Overall, I would NEVER order online for delivery again; especially if my order has to come from this location. I will pass.Chipotle thinks that they can screw you over just because it?s a delivery order and it?s not like you can do anything becausethe food has already been made and delivered and who is going to go out just to return an order?? But during a pandemic,everyone?s dollars count! If someone orders from a restaurant during these times, it?s a blessing! So don?t screw them. Ordered 3 tacos to go and they were all mashed together in one aluminum foil wrap - messy and obnoxious to eat. I would order... food elsewhere as this was unprofessional and we paid for a better experience. The experience was subpar and overpriced. Chipotle has been my go to for a fresh, healthy,balanced meal! The bowls are something out of this world! ????So Yummy! I always... go for the chicken bowl ( not just for the fact it?s cheaper) but because the chicken is grilled and spiced and compliments thebrown rice and beans so well! I always choose the brown rice over white, you have the option to, and it comes with the salsa,cream cheese, grated cheese also, guacamole, spinach, lettuce! Just a very fresh fantastic healthy meal!
