It's a low budget hotel in a great location. It was good enough but I think next time I'd pay more to stay somewhere else. My... room was a lot more run down than I expected based on pictures. Bed was nice, place was quite. Had to stuff a towel against thewindow because of the draft. Some minor cleaning issues but nothing gross. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Staffwas very nice but check in did not go smoothly and my key cards stopped working too early. Maybe they had the new hire on shift.Oh well. Read more

No issues with booking or stay and parking was free in a fenced lot next to the hotel. Deducted one star because the room was a... bit dirty; the walls had some stuff on it and sheets were a little scratchy but I otherwise the room seemed relatively clean. Itis decent for the price and in a great location. Read more

Dated rooms and facility wasn't a big issue. RUDE STAFF! Came here for a music event in the courtyard. Dozens of entertainers... stayed overnight from out of town. Staff gave me and one other member of my group attitude about using an unoccupied meetingroom to rehearse a few steps for about 15 minutes. Turns out the same room they kicked us out of, implying that we were somehowstealing money from them by utilizing the space without renting it, was the same room that had actually been rented for theentertainers later that same night as a green room. When I confronted them about their unwillingness to accommodate us, one ofthe two staff pulled the "racecard" saying, "You wouldn't do this at the Hyatt." and informed me that this was a "Black-owned"Hotel. Later I talked to the promoter of the event. He was already aware of how rude the staff was and informed me this was thelast event they were having at this venue. The CEO of the non-profit organization being supported by the event also made anannouncement over the PA system to about 250 - 300 people who had purchased tickets for the event that they were no longerhaving their events at this hotel. Whoever the owners are needs to quickly change their business ethics and retrain or replacecertain staff members if they want to survive as a "Black-owned" business. Even the Chinese food place down the street gave uscomplimentary spring rolls and chairs to sit on while we waited for our meals. Read more

It was a nice hotel. Room was clean. Good area for the Sox game close to stadium. I have to give it 3 stars only because my keys... never worked. I checked in came to the room put my things away, went to the lobby for some waters and when I came back up thekey didn?t work. That was the first time. Then I left shortly after to check out china town. When I came back the new keysdidn?t work either. Went back down stairs to let them know and it took forever just to get in my room. Was not happy at all. Can?t come and go as you please without a hassle. On a positive note the security guard did get me in the room and even droveme to the baseball game for the hassle. So that was pretty cool. Read more

Pros: Free parking, friendly staff, and it?s close enough to attractions. We couldn?t hear other rooms, which I was a bit... worried about. The staff was really great and made the experience worthwhile. Cons: It?s in a questionable area, rooms are abit dated, and no microwaves in the rooms. However? they do have microwaves in the business office, which is nice. Read more

The staff were all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The building itself is solid, I did not hear neighbors at all nor... people in the hall. It was very clean, our room was huge! Well decorated and updated. The location is just a few blocks frompublic transportation. We will stay here again. Read more

Upon entering the room their was an odd garlicky/musty smell. After sitting our bags down and stepping into the bathroom it was... clear that we were going to have issues. A used bar of soap laid in the dish at the counter, liquid soap had leaked into the tubfrom the dispenser and there were pee drops at the base of the toilet. Ick. When we tried to use the tub it immediately backedup and security was sent up to try to plunge it. We dealt with a non draining shower our whole stay due to them ?not having anyother available rooms? and it being a holiday weekend. We were not offered a discount or apology for the mishap. The room alsofeatured cracked crown moldings and dusty coffee maker/ice bucket. I was seriously looking for bed bugs. We also noted anexpired elevator certificate from 2020 on the elevator. I question safety here. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Read more

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The beds were great. Very quiet and peaceful, no noise issues whatsoever. I gave 4 stars... since the air conditioner was super weak, but if you don't mind being warmer it's not a problem at all. Would definitelyrecommend! Read more
