The ambience is so sexy! A perfect place for happy hour; they have a huge bar with well-crafted drinks - every single one is... made to order. The server we had was amazing. I believe her name was Sara; she was very attentive, thoughtful, and helpful inmaking recommendations for us newbies to order. We were treated like royalty! The food was so flavorful - plenty of garlic. Andtexturally excellent! My faves were the spring rolls, pea tips, and the noodles. We also had the irresistible green beans, sweet& sour tofu, dry chili chicken, the cucumber apps, and all the desserts! This place is underrated, but such a vibe! I willdefinitely be back soonish! Really really enjoyed my experience here for a little weeknight girls dinner. A great place for a couple, there are a bunch of... tables for two. If you have more than two in your party I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation in advance. Our server was sonice with great recommendations for items to try. I also loved that we didn’t feel rushed to get out, you could really savorthe meal and the drinks without feeling like there was a line behind you. Super cozy vibes, definitely would be an ideal placefor a date night. Unassuming outside and high quality inside. All the food was delicious, but I think next time I’ll stick toheavy apps and drinks rather than a full meal, just because I thought the apps were SO exceptional (I don’t even love crab butthat Rangoon was ????). Definitely found our new spot to enjoy great food, drinks and some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. As we... parked our car and opens our door we could already smell the delicious flavours coming from the kitchen. It was a packedSaturday night and we didn’t have reservations so opted to wait for a table or bar seat. The hostess was seriously awesome!She kept us constantly updated and rushed outside where we were waiting anytime a bar seat opened up. We enjoyed a great meal atthe bar with such friendly service. Chef’s Special is unlike anywhere in Chicago. The cocktails are well thought out and the food is to die for. The crab Rangoon... and eggrolls were perfect for starters. The Mongolian beef and the Kong pow chicken were perfect for main dishes. The dessertsare lovely. The staff is helpful and generous. This is a great choice for anyone looking for Chinese food in Chicago orBucktown. Read more
This new kid on the block and sister restaurant of Giant is well deserving of its Bib Gourmand status! Stopped by for happy hour... from 5-6 pm and got two drinks and two appetizers for only $50 after tax and tip. The bunny hatch cocktail was awesome - Iespecially loved the strong saffron aftertaste. The dan dan noodles were perfectly chewy and spicy. The egg roll was also great.I would love to come back! Read more
This is a hidden gem! The proportions were adequate and the prices reasonable. Me and a friend shared one appetizer and 2... plates. We took home leftovers. I was in town for a conference and wanted to not pay for overpriced meals in downtown Chicagoand wanted to explore the Bucktown/ Logan's Park area. They opened up right in 2020 and am so happy they survived! The cocktailswere also excellent. The Neutral Expectations was a mocktail, but is excellent with Gin. Read more
Great atmosphere, best staff ever, (Rad was AMAZING) good cocktails, and good food! Had a fabulous birthday... experience! Cocktails were super good, we definitely did several rounds of the tequila shots, I loved the blue moon and soda ofthe day. Can't wait to come back, and highly recommend! Read more
