Hidden Halal Gem in Chicago. Delicious halal food near the Museum of Science and Industry! Both the Lamb/Beef Barbacoa Tacos &... the Arab Swag chicken tacos with chilli salsa and roasted corn are fantastic and a real treat for someone who eats halal meatonly. Quality food. Fairly quickly made. Been a few times and the chicken wings are absolutely amazing. Being from Buffalo it's tough... to find good wings but the sauce they put on these is surprisingly delicious. The other food is solid. Read more
Got the chicken shawarma and although it was a little dry, it was delicious! A very reasonable portion size as well!
I must have come on a bad night because this was a waste of my money. Don't think I'll be returning. I paid wayyyy too much for... mid, dive food. The fries were old and dry and not at all like the menu photos online. The wings were just hot, no flavor atall. Don't know why warm wings were placed on top of wilted, soggy cheap iceberg lettuce. Very bad idea. The wrap was just ok,but too small and not worth the price in comparison to other places that offer the same thing. I just feel like if you are goingto serve the same dive food that I can get anywhere in Chicago, at least make it worth the high prices you charge. Otherwise, Ican go to several other Chicago spots and save money, get a larger portion and/or truly enjoy the flavor of my food. 2 starsbecause the two young ladies up front had great customer service. Friendly service and excellent, flavorful food. We demolished the Arab Swag Tacos and Harissa-Glazed wings. The watermelon... lemonade was absolutely divine and a delicious, cooling, complement to the savory flavors in the food. Read more
Food: 5 Value: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Customer Service: 5 Avg: 4.5 Notes: I like how they make the vegetables in the Chicken Shawarma... Wrap. The potatoes vary in quality. Sometimes they’re golden brown and sometimes they’re brown and very sour. The wrap inthe picture was very oily for some reason, but this isn’t usually the case. In conclusion, it’s a lovely place to go forfilling and delicious food. The sauce costs an extra dollar. Read more
Menu has been shaved down, but there are still good choices. There is limited inside and outside eating. Dine in food is... served in containers and pkgs as if they are take-out. Sanitizing, social distancing and masks are observed. Staff is verypleasant, and food is delicious. Read more
the sauces and vegetables are authentic. very good. wrap and plate are made with cheap tortillas. Not authentic Mediterranean... bread. you can pay an dollar for a pita. No Naan bread. larger portions of meat would make it 5 stars for food. lots of ricetho.. would rather have less rice more meat . Read more
