Taylor was incredible, if possible request her as your server!!! The food was exquisite - too good to wait to take pictures of... it first. We did however get a picture of the wine we enjoyed. Taylor made a few excellent suggestions for our night food wise.I had a great birthday celebration here and would definitely return!!! Fabulous location and beautifully designed! The food was delicious and served quickly. I ate at the bar with a friend where we... had great service. The chicken empanada was the best I've ever had. The pisco slushy drink was refreshing and delicious. I wouldreturn again and again. Read more
The food tasted okay, the drinks were great, but the service was horrible. Our waiter avoided us as much as possible - he sped... past our table whenever he walked by, and we had to work hard to get his attention. The back covered patio could do with somefans/cooling. They do have a vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask specifically for it. Read more
Cabra was a super fun experience! The location, on the rooftop of the Hoxton Hotel, is fantastic and the way that the space is... designed gives it lots of open air seating options in summer, and lots of covered options for when it’s colder. The menu islots of fun, with smaller and larger shareable plates and Stephanie Izard’s innovative touch is clearly present throughout.All the food we tried tasted great, with a few super indulgent treats, like the smashed fingerling potatoes in creamy but lightcheese sauce, or the goat empanadas. Such a delight! Service was good, though a bit slow - our waitress told us that they hadtwo staff members call off unexpectedly. Given that, I think they staff did fantastic and remained friendly and upbeatthroughout. An absolute recommendation! Read more
Definitely added this place to one of my top favorite restaurants in Chicago! The food so so delicious and the atmosphere was so... nice. I loved hearing the Dj and seeing the poolside as well. I overall enjoyed everything. Service was good as well. I woulddefinitely come back to try out the dinner menu. One thing that’s a big deal to me is bland food and this place has all theflavors down packed. Be sure to purchase a few plates too. But it’s worth every penny. Read more
Perfect spot for rooftop cocktails in the west loop. Cabra is a great place to grab drinks before getting dinner in the... surrounding area. The atmosphere is beautiful and has a decent amount of seating and standing room. Great views of the city too!Highly recommend and I will be returning to have dinner and try the full menu! Read more
Great time at Cabra! Went here for a date night and sat at the patio. Great views at night from out seat while sipping cocktails... and enjoying great food. We liked everything we ordered. The waiter was very helpful in recommending plates, some of which wewould t have picked if it wasn’t for him! Read more
Cabra is a gorgeous hotel rooftop restaurant by Stephanie Izard. I'm a big fan of her restaurants because her food never fails... to punch you in the face with flavor. This place carries the legacy well. Everything was bright bold and delicious. We tried aton of dishes but a stand out flavor bomb was the mushroom ceviche. The busser Javier was an absolute delight and elevated ourexperience! Read more
