Looks like many others have beat me to a deserving review for this shop. It's easy to miss on the street since they don't have a... large sign outside, so keep your eyes peeled! Anyway, the coffee and crew working here are 10/10. Everybody is friendly, thecoffee and drink variation is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is somewhat dark and relaxed. Update - Feb 2019: I think they?ve switched matcha providers a few times because the taste has changed over the past couple... years. I think they used to use Spirit Tea (best ever) but now they definitely don?t. And some of the baristas don?t make it aswell (way too hot/bitter, large clumps in the bottom, etc.). However, it?s better now than it was last fall. And the staff isreally nice lately too! Read more
Great coffee and unique and relaxing atmosphere. This place is a bit small so seating is limited. Nice place to get some work... done. Good wifi. I also tried their Boozy Steamer called Whiskey and Cream and it was delicious. They also sell cigars herewhich is interesting. This is definitely a very unique neighborhood spot to check out. For those that enjoy dark holes in the wall and whiskey in their coffee. The donuts are pretty good. Too dark for me though.
